Study On Human Settlements Construction Of The Historic Hancheng County

For thousands of years, Chinese "county" has become a natural, cultural, economic,society stable unit.This paper studies Hancheng County from the perspective of humansettlements environmental science. The writer put the Yellow River Basin, HanchengCounty, historical settlements (city, town, village) in the County, and building,landscape together. They form a complete system, combination of macro and micro,closely related to each other. Research on Hancheng County, is not "on the county onthe county". Instead, it is placed in the overall system. Through it, the paper try to findreally original ideas and methods, about the local living environment.The paper reviews the development process of Hancheng County, Sums up theuniversal character of the county living environment, particularity of Hancheng, and thebasic law of evolution. The paper studies natural, settlements, culture, landscape, inhabitsupport five areas, recognizing that: Hancheng County as a whole pattern of humansettlement environment, is "environmental structure" about "natural" and "culturalstructure" about "people", is the two-in-one. Paper further construct a three-dimensional,pyramid county settlement model system, and put the ancient city of Hancheng,Zhichuan town, Dang village for example, compare their features constitute,quantitative study of their land size. It proves that: city with the "ritual spirit", town withthe "evil spirit", village with the "ethical spirit". Structural characteristics of nativesettlements reflect three Levels: basic survival level, spiritual care level, survivalsignificance level. Paper further studies Inhabited landscape model, pulse bone structuremodel, sign system and Core divergent pattern, group domain texture pattern, therelationship between architecture and the environment, the relationship between pictureand view, axial relationship, Border relations etc. Through these studies, paper provesthe wisdom of local living environment. There are some "truth" behind the space and form. Designers more concerned a transcendent substance status which is about thevalue of life. The research established a structural model of thecounty settlement, studied the land use of typical settlement, analyzes the structuralfeatures of the history settlement, combed the deep influence factors of local settlement.The paper further enrich the local ideas and methods on living environment creation,summarizes the geographical features and evolution law of the living environment inthe Hancheng County. At last, the article summarizes the practical ways and traditionalmechanisms in the local living environment.
