The construction and renovation for village in our country has began to carry out with the accelerated process of urbanization, the development of urban and rural overall planning. But it has led to thousand villages are in a way and rural elements are disappearing gradually by village renovation construction tending to urbanization, applying urban planning model, erasing and covering the unique characteristics and style of the village.Therefore, it is the urgent problem of the current village construction and the exploration and research in development and environment science at the village level which is "How to carry out the work of village renovation can protect and inheritance village characteristic style and promote the sustainable development of the village"This paper puts forward the main content study of village renovation planning by basing on the theory of human settlements Science, supporting the framework of the scientific system of human settlements, Using the synthetic study method which is coherent, analyzing current situation of village in Jing Tai County, Gansu Province, summarizing the problems existing in the process of village renovation.This paper focuses on the renovation planning for village under the guidance of the scientific theory of human settlements to construct the framework of the renovation planning system. First, it summarizes the problems in the planning of renovation of village in Jing Tai County, Gansu Province, and understanding the basic situation of the village in Jing Tai County overrall from the view of science and ecology for living environment, economy, science and technology, society and culture. Secondly, it puts forward the principle of renovation planning of village under the guidance of the science of human settlements, and the main contents of renovation planning for village from the point of view of the five major systems of human settlements which are land use planning, environmental protection, living environmental remediation, residential renovation, infrastructure remediation, industrial development planning, village construction and management measures. Finally, putting the renovation system for village into practice under the guidance of environment science for human settlement, proposing the measures of construction and development of Hong Sha Xian village, adjusting the land use, protecting the environment, improving the environment, improving infrastructure, Improving the living environment of village and promoting sustainable development of the village based on the protection of the village characteristics, the preservation of the existing pattern, and the preservation of the characteristics of the building by selecting the renovation planning of Hong Sha Xian village as an example.It hopes to put forward reasonable solution in these problems existing in renovation plan for village currently, Studying on living environment in the village level richly, providing some references for the research and practice of the construction and development of the village through the research.
