Ecological crisis and its globalization from the West is in fact a human crisis, even is the current capitalist system in crisis. Bourgeois theoreticians reflect for it , but they didn’t really captured the essence of things. After analysing the essence of the crisis from the height of historical materialism, Pepper clarified the bound of its Eco-socialism and the other green theory on philosophical underpinnings, the political orientation, values and social transformation programme from different dimensions, and in its perspective of modernism spread the red critisization from the shallow to deep green theory. On this basis, Pepper with a "weak" anthropocentrism as basic values painted a beautiful picture in ecological community with elimination of Alienation and the people and nature being fully liberated. Moreover, Pepper also designed a realistic path to the society——red-green coalition, and he also discussed the Eco-Socialism in practice to make it out of Utopia. Pepper built his thought on the foundation of a comprehensive reflection for current capitalist and traditional socialist. His criticism on "green" green theory in ecological movement contains many theoretical innovation, also presents different aspects from other Eco-socialism theoreticians. Of course, his theory is not perfect, in the scheme about the future Eco-socialism, community ownership, economy model of appropriate growth and self-contradictory social transformation programme all are with the color of Utopia. But this does not prevent us to give the high evaluation on his theory and his attention for practice. His ideas provide important reference to the theory and practice for the construction of conservation culture, we have no doubt to concern it.
