The Transcending Of Anthropocentrism Is Impossible.

For the purpose of enhancing the strength and developing the economy, after the second world war,every country, especially western countries speeded up the process of industrialization.The urbnization accompanied with the worldwide industrialization caused a full-blown environmental pollution crisis, which led to the birth of environmental philosophy, also was called environmental/ecological ethics.After decades of development, environmental philosophy has became the world's most cutting-edge and the most dynamic and popular subject.Ecological crisis attracted widespread concern in academic circles during the research of environmental ethics.Some scholars believe that "anthropocentrism" is the root cause of ecological crisis,it is necessary to transcend anthropocentrism in order to overcome the ecological crisis, to ensure the sustainable development of society, to achieve harmony between human-beings and nature. Therefore, Transcending "anthropocentrism" has became a subject with a great theoretical and practical significance in environmental philosophy.Under the guidance of Marxist historical Materialism,this paper adopted some research methods, that is,philosophical hermeneutics,the unity of history and logic and the combination of theory and practice, took the comparison between deep ecology and the ecological ethics of Taoism in pre-Qin period as an example and discussed that transcending anthropocentrism is impossible from three aspects.First of all, from the point of view of the theoretical meaning and historic evolution of non-anthropocentrism and anthropocentrism in analytical environmental philosophy,defined the theoretical meaning and characteristics of anthropocentrism when act as a value.Secondly, through the comparative study of ecological ethics of Pre-Qin Taoism and deep ecology , discussed that one of the theoretical sources of deep ecology is the anthropocentrism implication of ecological ethics in Taoism, which reveals the essence of deep ecology also the essence of anthropocentrism.Finally, from the perspective why environmental philosophy is called environmental philosophy is that environmental philosophy rely on anthropocentrism.Deep ecology,which represented non-anthropocentrism, is actually the expansion and extension of anthropocentrism and is the expansion of selves and encouraging a more broad interest,so the essence of deep ecology is still anthropocentrism.Therefore, it's impossible to transcend anthropocentrism no matter in human being's yesterday, today or tomorrow.and it was pointed out that anthropocentrism is not the root of ecological crisis but the necessity of the development of eco-system. The ecological philosophy of Taoism in pre-Qin can provide many useful enlightenments for environmental philosophy and it's our valuable spiritual resource and the source of wisdom to deal with ecological crisis.
