The Regional Effect Of Tourism Industry

Regional effect of tourism industry is the inevitable outcome and objective law in the developing process of tourism industry, and this research field has been paid much attention in academic circles both at home and abroad. At present, China is at a stage of rapid development of the tourism industry, tourism industry is playing an important role in promoting regional economic development, spatial construction, social and cultural progress, and ecological environmental protection, but the negative effects of the development of tourism industry on socio-cultural, ecological environment has become increasingly prominent. Therefore, on the basis of the existing theoretical research and China's national conditions, this article believes that how to build the theoretical and practical system of the tourism industry regional effect and its regulation in China's academic is a research topic which is urgent to solve. This is also an important starting point of this study.This article explores the producing laws and regulation pathways of tourism industry's regional effect from the perspective of the interaction between the tourism industry and regional development. Through analyzing the formation mechanism of the action effect of tourism industry on regional economic, spatial, socio-cultural and eco-environment in-depth, and then masters the evaluation laws of tourism industry's regional effect systematically, furthermore, it is also a new angle to explain the relation between tourism industry and regional development. The paper also stresses that building the regulation mechanism and regulation pathway system of tourism industry's regional effect from the"tourism industry and regional development interaction angle"is a new way to solve the series of questions of China's tourism industry development and the non-coordination between the tourism industry and regional development. As to the research thinking and research means, this paper combines macroscopic analysis with microscopic analysis, qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis. The whole paper is divided into six chapters:Chapter I: Exordium. On the basis of the related concepts definitions and discriminations in tourism industry, tourism industry regional effect research progresses are summarized and evaluated from external and internal levels. Then the author proposes the thesis's research thinking and content, establishes the framework system of the thesis.Chapter II: The basic theories of tourism industry regional effect research. From the angles of interactions between tourism industry and regional economic development, spatial construction, social and culture progress, ecological environmental development, the paper studies on tourism industry association and structural evolution theory, tourism industry spatial distribution theory, tourism industry and social culture integration theory and tourism industry ecological development theory separately, which establishes the theoretical basis for the whole thesis.Chapter III: Analysis of the regional effect of the tourism industry development. In this part, the concept and the characteristic of the tourism industry regional effect has been defined, the internal structure and logic level has been analysed. In this foundation, the author also does the research on the influence to the regional economic, culture, ecological environment and spatial structure. Then the author constructs a theoretical framework of the paper.Chapter IV: Evaluation and regulation mechanism of the tourism industry regional effect. First, the author studies the stage and the appearance of the spatial-temporal evolution of the tourism industry regional effect from two perspectives of time series and spatial change. Then, synthetically appraisal method and index system has been constructed for the evaluation of the tourism industry regional effect. Thereafter, the author puts forward the regulation and control mechanism of it. All of these lay a research foundation for establishing the control system.Chapter V: Characteristics and evaluation of the regional effect of Dalian tourism industry. Taking Dalian as an empirical study region, this chapter analyzes the developing conditions and characteristics of Dalian tourism industry, and systemizes the evolution track and performance of every single stage of the regional effect of tourism industry. Basing on this study and applying the evaluation methods and index system established in preliminaries, it quantitatively evaluates the regional effect of Dalian tourism industry, and comes to the basic evaluation conclusions of the regional effect.Chapter VI: Regulation and control system of the regional effect of Dalian tourism industry. This chapter puts forward to the backgrounds and targets of regulation and control of the regional effect of Dalian tourism industry, basing on its evolution procession and results of quantitative evaluation. To achieve the objectives, this chapter focuses on the paths and the countermeasures of regulation and control of the regional effect of Dalian tourism industry, so provides support for the orderly development of Dalian tourism industry and the coordination of regional interaction.
