| Regional airport refers to the airport located in the remote area, which will hardly become a center in the foreseeable flight courses'network. Taking by air is an important way for international tourism and distant tourism, so the development of airport has promoted tourism while the latter's development also have provided a huge market for aviation. However, at the same time when civil aviation industry and the tourism industry have got vigorous development in China, we have long overlooked the coupling relationship between regional airports and the tourism industry, not to mention better use of this coupling to obtain their separate long-term development, then accordingly the Civil Aviation Regional Airport have suffered serious loss.This paper took an example of the coupling mechanism between regional airport operation and the tourism industry development in Hunan Province, and discussed detailed the combination of them from the perspect of the of tourism resource's development. Moreover, the in-depth investigation conducted through field visits, interviews and questionnaires on them showed the result that:At present, there are four regional airports in Hunan Province, while three of them have unsatisfactory operation and only the regional airport in Zhangjiajie is on profit. Tourism industry in every regional area has developed but it hasn't reflected the advantage of tourism resources. Such phenomenon fully demonstrated that poor coupling situation between regional airports and tourism industry. Hence, compared with developed countries there is still a large gap even for Lotus Airport in Zhangjiajie, whose coupling situation is comparatively the best in Hunan Province.Finally on the basis of previous text, the paper constructed the coupling mechanism between regional airports'operation and the tourism industry's development, besides, applying abundant knowledge of aviation, management science, sociology and other fields it also made some innovational suggestions,mainly including establishing Hub-Radiation airline structure, developing low-cost regional aviation,support for strategic alliance between regional airports and tourism enterprises, selecting domestic regional aircraft to reduce business cost, developing airlines for charter travel, opening up stop-places for private planes and tourism-planes, improving service quality and making suggestions for the national macroscopic policy. |
