Aiming at the review and existent problem of product lifecycle requirement management, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) demand flow chain, as a new method, was proposed. Modular product as the researched object, the theory on PLM demand flow chain structure model and decision control was deep researched. Associated with the application project, the technology was systemic validated. The main work of dissertation was dissertated in the followings:Chapter 1 gave the research background of dissertation. First, the knowledge of PLM requirement management was reviewed and analyzed, and the shortage of present research was proposed. Then, the research meaning was depicted, and the review of some theory on correlation of the dissertation was analyzed. Finial, the content and architecture of the dissertation was presented.Chapter 2 gave the definition and connotation of PLM demand flow chain. The requirement structure of every phase node was analyzed through adopting CAH (Customer Architecture Hierarchy) method in PLM demand flow chain. Then, the definition of requirement intensity was proposed, and the content of requirement intensity was quantitatively analyzed. On the basis of these, the technology architecture of PLM demand flow chain structure model and decision control was advanced. The key applied technologies—PLM demand flow chain structure evolvement mapping based on meta-model, the evolvement of product model, PLM demand flow chain structure model and PLM demand flow chain structure decision control were researched.Chapter 3 analyzed the definition, main characteristic and model flow of meta-model, structure meta-model of PLM demand flow chain was given. The structure evolvement mechanism of PLM demand flow chain was putted forward. The diversion from semantic structure expression to physical structure on requirement information was realized through adopting evolvement mapping technology of characteristic, applying chart format of structure and integrating special experience. Then, the process was analyzed quantificationally.Chapter 4 gave the structure model on PLM demand flow chain. The integration of structure BOM (Bill of Material) on requirement structure in every node of PLM demand flow chain was researched. The different hierarchy of layer, department and system were analyzed through applying matrix method in PLM demand flow chain. The storage of class libraries and physics on structure model was analyzed in PLM demand flow chain.Chapter 5 gave the mechanism of decision control on PLM demand flow chain. The multi-object advantage of requirement structure on every phase node in PLM demand flow chain was analyzed through adopting the technology of multi-object decision control, and the maths model of multi-object decision was dissertated. The configuration baseline was built on requirement structure, which realized the consistent control on the alteration of requirement structure in PLM demand flow chain. The feedback control structure on requirement structure of PLM demand flow chain was discussed.Chapter 6 took the industrial steam turbine for example, validated the researched theory, method and key technology on PLM demand flow chain structure model and decision control in this dissertation through employing the Smarteam4.0 platform, which integrated the prototype of self-developing CRM (Customer Relation Management) system and BOM management module.Chapter 7 summarized the dissertation and gave a prospect for the future research work.
