Research On Resources And Core Competence Of Telecom Enterprises Based On Dynamic Relations

This thesis has conducted the research on formation and promotion mechanism of Chinese telecom enterprises'resources and core competence in dynamic relations between telecom enterprises and economic subjects.Based on the review of competitive action theory,dynamic competence and telecommunication regulation , the conformity study framework of relations between telecom enterprises and economic subjects , resources and core competence is inferred from the introspective study of enterprises.The economic subjects constitute one part of enterprises'environment. This thesis expounds the components of economic subjects which lie in the exterior environment. The analysis model of dynamic relations between telecom enterprises and economic subjects has been built up.The main economic subjects are recognized as government, owner, supplier, supplement, collaborator, competitor, substitute and client. From the two ways of"structure"and"process",the relative characteristics between telecom enterprises and economic subjects has been drawn conclusion , which is built on case analysis for ten-year-development courses of China Unicom. It also makes the framework of relational essential factor on the basis of proper right, integrated transaction, trust, conflicts, learning and control.This thesis takes an attemptable way of research on the dynamic relations. The route of dynamic relations has been clarified with longitudinal and latitudinal change. The longitudinal change refers to undulates of quantity , reconstruction of organizational structure and strategic management, which includes realistic subjects turned by latent subjects or its departs and also shows the status of combination and division among various subjects; The latitudinal change refers to the mutual transforms by the subjects. By case analysis, the route model of dynamic relation has been acquired and the dynamic relation index also been recognized.Due to the analysis on the opportunity and threat faced by telecom enterprises, the inference about the formation of resources and core competence has been drawn out. This thesis elaborated the organic synthesis thought between dynamic relations and resources, core competence. It also proposes evolved mechanism model of resource and core competence in dynamic relations.On the foundation of above mentioned several sets of theories and case analysis, telecom enterprises'resources and core competence have been distinguished initially. The resources are divided into technological resource, marketing resource, strategic resource, material resource and relational resource. The core competence is divided into exterior relational competence, marketing conformity competence , technical conformity competence and strategic management conformity competence.After a positive research on questionnaire survey by telecom enterprises ,the intrinsic relations of dynamic relations, resources and core competence have been promulgated. Through the factor analytical method, this thesis elaborates the essential factor variables of resources and core competence in dynamic relations.It makes further studies on the evolved mechanism of telecom enterprises'resources and core competence in dynamic relations. According to its evolutionary process, the interior and exterior function mechanism model are proposed. The root of difference between enterprises and economic subjects is back from the difference of accumulation and structure of knowledge. It is precisely this kind of difference that causes the transference of knowledge to have sharing and initiate dynamic relations. Therefore, the knowledge between telecom enterprises and economic subjects makes exterior function mechanism which resources and core competence have promoted. It also forms the interior function mechanism that component knowledge and architectural knowledge operate jointly in sustainable circulation with four stages.Finally, after the theory study and case analysis, some relevant advice about the promotion of resources and core competence is put forward: to not only must pay attention to interior existing resources and core competence, but must take the relational factors of resources and core competence; to carry out the entire processing management on resource and core competence; to implement the omni-directional conformity of relational resource; to emphasize the dynamic and sustainable problems in the proceeding of building up core competence power.
