Focal firm cored industrial clusters exist widely in China. Innovation networks in these industrial clusters are the main platforms and channels for resources flow, and their evolutions and operations directly determine the success and efficiency of innovations made by firms in clusters, thereby affect the technological capacity and innovational capacity advancements of these industry clusters. From such a perspective, to study the evolution process and mechanism of these industrial cluster innovation networks is quite necessary. Based on General System theory, Complex Adaptive System (CAS) theory and Complex Network theory, this dissertation uses modeling, simulation and case methods to study the evolution disciplinarian and evolution mechanism of these innovation networks, as well as the technological innovation diffusion disciplinarian through them. The subresearches and their conclusions are organized as follow:This dissertation used the case study method to attain the stage characteristics of focal firm cored industrial cluster innovation networks in foreign countries, then summarized evolution disciplinarian of this kind of industrial cluster innovation networks in China by literature study, and proved their rationality by final product systematical innovation model, finally demonstrated these evolution disciplinarian by a case study of Xuzhou construction machinery industry cluster. The results show that in China focal firms chase balance development status of key component technologies; they tend to outsource innovation tasks of simple components and take innovation tasks of key components themselves, so their innovation networks usually have lots of peripheral nodes but little key nodes; they began to construct their own technology systems as well as pay attention to the integrality of key component technology system; several types of foreign cooperations can be recognized as measures to construct their own technology systems, and introducing foreign enterprises into local industrial clusters is the best one.This dissertation analyzed the main innovation activities in this kind of industrial clusters and their relationship with final products of focal firms at first, then constructed the echo model on the evolution process of core-structure cluster innovation networks, and simulated it on Swarm. Four evolution mechanisms were summarized including the evolution process of industrial cluster innovation network with focal firm as its core is an adaptive process and needs to update three times; influences of technology environment factors on the evolution process are long-term; the hierarchical structure of the final product system and the component properties in essence determine that this kind of industrial cluster innovation networks have many cores and adherence; low key component peeling-off rate of focal firms is the bottleneck factor of the evolution process of this kind of industrial cluster innovation networks in China, and it can explain the performance gap between these industrial cluster innovation networks in China and foreign countries.This dissertation brought in a new kind of network prototypes for focal firm cored industrial cluster innovation networks based on complex network theory and their own characteristics, and simulated the technological innovation diffusion processes in different scenarios on Swarm Platform, by analyzing the simulation results it got the effect mechanisms of key determinants of technological innovation diffusion, and their relationships with the network structure. The uncertainty and ambiguity of a technological innovation's benefits will compel potential adopters to obtain information and knowledge of the innovation for exact estimation, and this can slowdown the diffusion speed, meanwhile strengthen the information and knowledge obtaining capacities of firms as well as lifting the link density of the existing networks can help potential adopters clear the ambiguity more quickly. The adoption cost can be a variable exogenous or endogenous of the diffusion process, in both mechanisms this adoption cost has a significant downward trend and a negative correlation with the total adoption number. The channel power effect can drive technological innovation adoption and diffusion by bringing economic losses to firms who reject adopting it, and it has a positive correlation with individual adoption probability as well as the total adoption number, when this effect had been considered, this dissertation didn't find any simple rules about the relationship between the network structure and individual pecuniary losses as well as the network structure and the total number of adopters.This dissertation attained the evolution disciplinarian and evolution mechanisms of focal firm cored industrial cluster innovation networks and the technological innovation diffusion disciplinarian through them, which enrich the theory of industrial cluster and technological innovation diffusion; it constructed an echo model about the evolution process of core-structure cluster innovation networks, and simulate it successfully, this provided an new instance for echo model study; it brought in a new study angle and a kind of technological innovation diffusion network prototypes, they can be used by other researchers following industrial clusters and technological innovation diffusion closely; its conclusions can do some help to policy making by governments and strategy making by enterprises.
