| With the globalization of economy and market competition become increasingly fierce, the commercial competition is no longer between single enterprises but among the supply chains. Coordination of the supply chain becomes one of the keys to obtain competitive advantage.In an assembly supply chain, such as automobile, electronics products supply chain, a product is often assembled by hundreds of components which provided by hundreds of supplier. This feature makes the supply logistics in assembly supply chain operates in a very difficult as well as the collaborative operation. And the emergence of the Supply-Hub solved the problems in a proper way. The so-called supply chain collaborative operation pattern based on Supply-Hub is exactly an innovative application in the practice of the assembly production. In this pattern, raw material or components of the suppliers will be unified stored in the Supply-Hub which operated by the third party logistics and controlled with VMI methodology. The third party logistics is responsible for the delivery from the Supply-Hub to the assembly line of the manufacturer.Based on the analysis of operational value of Supply-Hub modes we studied several collaborative operation strategies based on Supply-Hub. First, according to the assembly production in the traditional batch Supply logistics for batch replenishment mode, we introduced a "circulation pickup" replenishment model, as well as a mathematical model for the synergy of Supply-Hub freight system optimal decision-making, and by using the numerical simulation methods for the three situations of Supply chain performance comparison, analyzed the Supply chain performance improvement of assembly production function and value brought by Supply-Hub. Second, we proposed a collaborative replenishment strategy for the component suppliers based on Supply-Hub, furthermore, we introduced a kind of identical parts two source Supply suppliers replenishment strategy. Test through an example of these two kinds of replenishment the validity of these strategies, and analyzes its guiding significance to management practice. Finally, we introduced a Supply-hub inventory responsibility period excited in practice, from Supply-Hub inventory control level with "set" two dimensions of responsibility period consideration, we studied Supply-Hub inventory control strategy under the Supply of goods decision-making problem. |
