China is a large country in the production and circulation of fresh agricultural products, but the vast territory and the huge differences in terrain and climate have made the normal operation of fresh agricultural products supply chain face a series of issues. It is well known that the perishable and fragile nature of fresh agricultural products makes them extremely susceptible to some man-made or natural losses, thus hazarding the quality of them, which is detrimental to the interests of suppliers, retailers and consumers alike. With the take-off of economic in modern society, people are no longer simply satisfied with the demand for fresh agricultural products, they are also gradually concerned about the variety, quality and safety, nutritional value, freshness and other aspects of them,so it is urgent to establish a healthy operation system for this category of supply chain. At present, cold chain transportation is the most familiar and valid method to slacken the loss of fresh agricultural products. However, due to the late start of cold chain system in our country, there is a lag in the construction, coupled with the relatively high cost of cold chain cost, the main members of the supply chain are less enthusiastic about the preservation efforts. Therefore, the preservation problem has always been a very important but difficult issue in our country.Based on this background, this paper brings freshness-keeping effort into the harmonization of fresh agricultural products supply chain, not only by constructing freshness function expressions and market demand function expressions related to freshness-keeping effort, but also by analyzing the decision models under symmetric and asymmetric of information on freshness-keeping effort. In this paper,a two-stage fresh produce supply chain consisting of a single supplier and a single retailer is used as the framework.Firstly, when both parties have the exact information about the freshness-keeping effort, two models of collaborative decision making(centralized decision making)and non-collaborative decision making(retailer-dominated decentralized decision making)are established respectively, and it is concluded that centralized decision making is superior to decentralized decision making.Secondly, the supply chain model of non-synergistic is coordinated by the contract of "freshness-keeping effort cost sharing in combination with revenue sharing"successfully.Thirdly,a sensitivity analysis of the demand-price sensitivity coefficient called "b",the demand-freshness sensitivity coefficient called "k",and the freshness decay extremes-preservation effort sensitivity coefficient called "β" is performed, encapsulating the following conclusions:when the freshness-keeping effort information is symmetric, for both centralized and decentralized decisions, the optimal retail price and the wholesale price, plus the optimal order quantity and freshness-keeping effort level all vary inversely with b,while in the same direction with k and β.Next,in order to address the possibility that the supplier,as a freshness-keeping effort input party, may misrepresent freshness-keeping effort and thus reduce its own input cost, this paper then analyzes the decision model under the asymmetric of information on freshness-keeping effort. The results indicate that the higher the degree of supplier misrepresentation of freshness-keeping effort inputs, the lower the profitability for suppliers and retailers.Secondly, the analysis shows that the contract of "freshness-keeping effort cost sharing in combination with revenue sharing" can not only be fruitful for increasing the profitability of both parties, but also for increasing the profitability of both parties, but also can encourage suppliers to truthfully announce the freshness-keeping effort level, which has the effectiveness in double sense.Thirdly, the sensitivity analysis of the freshness-keeping effort misrepresentation coefficient called "λ" conclusions that both the optimal freshness effort level and the optimal order quantity decrease with the increase of the misrepresentation coefficient, while the optimal wholesale price and the optimal retail price are not affected. Finally,an arithmetic analysis using the relevant data of HD fresh produce e-commerce company proves the authenticity of the above conclusions, which has some reference significance.
