As far as sea battle is concerned,only by working with shipboard weapon system to form an organic whole can a shipboard radar give full play to its proper role.This dissertation puts forward the concept of Shipboard Radar Detecting Efficiency Probability,trying to make a thorough research and study on shipboard radar combat efficiency in a systematic way.This dissertation consists of four major parts.In the first part,according to some related efficiency evaluation theories and approaches,the basic flow chart of efficiency evaluation is proposed for the first time,its six steps are explained and demonstrated in great detail.In the second part,the problems of shipboard radar acting distance, attacking distance of the safeguarding weapon system,shipboard radar potential detecting efficiency probability are first dealt with,then the mathematical model of shipboard radar detecting efficiency probability is put forward and the two factors of shipboard radar itself are studied.In the third part,many analyses,statistics and research on the natural factors like atmosphere attenuation,atmosphere refraction etc.are done. Shipboard radar detecting efficiency probability mathematical model applied under natural conditions is constructed,and the affecting patterns and affecting degrees of various natural factors are analyzed.In the forth part,the effects on shipboard radar and the acting distance that active jamming and passive jamming make are analyzed,and the mathematical model of shipboard radar detecting efficiency probability under jamming conditions is constructed.The interference degree to which active jamming and passive jamming affect seaboard radar detecting efficiency probability is also studied.The results investigated in this dissertation reveal that shipboard radar detecting efficiency probability fully embodies its characteristics of systematicness and comprehensive efficiency evaluation,not only reveals shipboard radar own potential efficiency and use efficiency under both natural and jammed conditions,but also displays the combat efficiency of shipboard radar in combination with seaboard weapon system.This result is quite equivalent with the real condition.The results investigated in this dissertation can lay solid theoretical foundation for the development and combat use of shipboard radar,and it has great theoretical and practical value.
