Research On Home Networking System Based On XML/BACnet

At the beginning the dissertation introduced the development and deficiency of home networking, concluding the topic of home networking device information standardization and system achievement. On the purpose of describing the research more clearly, the conception of home networking is studied systemically. Then it standardizes the information about home networking, approaching the software structure of home networking system based on XML/BACnet. Also it makes system device information management and operation successful with DOM parse technology. Therefore it concludes the concrete implement process and evaluates the system and its function.(1) Applying XML technology and BACnet objects, XML schema for home networking device information are displayed. The dissertation specializes the relationship among device, device objects, device objects attribution, data-point object and data-point object attribution. The schema simplifies the description to BACnet object in order to make various data-point having a universal module. This method simplifies management and display of this information. Regulating the interface between apply program and home networking middleware. It defines 3 common device controlling interfaces, data-point position description. Also it defines universal device controlling parameter and mistake type of device controlling.(2) Designing a software structure of home networking based on XML / BACnet. It characterizes that the device information of home networking applies XML document. And information process goes for XML technology. Communication platform between devices goes for BACnet protocol stack. Data on network accords with one of BACnet service. And it has function like auto-controlling management, safety, real-time and Web controlling.(3) Designing the system safety management process based on BACnet service. If a certain data-point goes wrong in device, the device applies the service"ConfirmedEventNotification"noticing other devices. Then safety module deals with the notice according safety strategy information. The elements including in safety strategies and relationship between them are regulated by XML schema.(4) Achieving a home networking system based on XML/BACnet and testing the system function.
