According to the requirement of field information acquisition techniques inprecision agriculture, several kinds of field information acquisition system isresearched and developed by applying automation technology, embedded systemtechnology, sensors technology and field bus technology.Solutions presented in this thesis can be summarized as follows:1. A guide system for variable rate machine is designed. It includes a controlcomputer composed of embedded industrial computer and a guidance light bar basedon single chip. Control computer communicates with guidance light bar by CAN bus.Control computer uses GPS to measure the position and velocity of the machine andthen transmit the aberrancy information to guidance light bar by CAN bus. Theguidance light bar uses LEDs of different color and LCD to display the aberrancyinformation real time to assist the driver of the machine to work correctly.2. A portable field information acquisition system is designed based on single chip,nonvolatile memory chip, GPS and several kinds of sensors. It can gather and recordthe information of GPS, sensors of field information acquisition and display them byLCD. After the acquisition process, the recorded data can be transferred to PC byUSB or serial port for analysis thereafter.3. Another portable field information acquisition system is designed based on 32 bitsCPU and embedded operation system uCLinux, which can implement remotelycommunication by wireless technology other than gather and record the informationof GPS, sensors of field information acquisition.
