Electrical Power Industry plays an important role in the national economy. China is one of the big countries for coal production and consumption with coal as the major one time resource. For the time being about 50% of coal production is used for power generation. It is also meaning that 25% higher of the coal consumption for the same power quantity production internationally. This is not only a general technical problem and an economic problem, but also a serious problem involving continuous development strategy. Further more China's fossil power generation capacity has been expanded sharply. With the international daily growth of energy save and consumption reduction the problem of decreasing coal consumption of fossil power generation in the whole country must be seriously faced.In order to maintain the continuous development of the power industry China is using the good opportunity of alleviation of supply-demand contradiction of the power for the time being to process fossil power structural modification, push forward the application of new technology, give up high energy consumption machinery sets and strengthen the up-to-date for energy save and environmental protection.It becomes a trend that the power station projects go forward to high parameter and large capacity in consideration of China's actual situation and the demand of the national economic development of the power market. In the past years the super-critical boiler technology developed and applied swiftly in the country. China is now on the basis of mastering the manufacture of under-critical 300-600MW machinery sets quickening the speed to research and develop super-critical machinery sets to realize localization and batch manufacture for increasing the ratio of the super-critical machinery sets in the fossil operating sets by the means of technology license transfer and cooperation. During the"11th-Five-Year Plan"China will focus on specific technology development and expanding large-scale super-critical machinery sets for the development and enforcement of the power industry. For the time being the domestic large-scale super-critical machinery sets has finished trial manufacture and put into operation and the commercial manufacture is coming very soon.The super-critical fossil power generating unit indicates the capacity over 600MW.
