In the trend of the international collectivization business development of TV media industry at the end of the 20th century, TV media industries on both banks of the Taiwan Straight launched a series of events towards collectivization business development. This thesis targeted the research on the collectivization business strategies of television industries across the straight. The research used the pathway of environment-induced structure change mechanism as the skeleton, and discussed in depth the current interaction of television products between the two banks in the areas of politics, economics and social culture. With the area of content constructed vertically by the time sequences and horizontally by the concurrent interactions, the thesis further discussed the meaning of the cross-straight interaction mechanism and the effect of positive interaction development to societies on the two banks.In 1990's, in the background of globalization and collectivization, a market-driven mechanism provided the environment to the economic interaction between the television products across the straight. The market had manifested a diversified, productized and localised environment in Taiwan, while a blooming business opportunity had appeared in mainland due to television and TV media industry's potential market absorbability. Though the initial interaction, it is proved that a business-oriented cooperative foundation can be laid. Furthermore, the profit-driven ideology effectively overcame the conflict and limitation due political ideologies, and hence created a dual-benefit mechanism.The academic achievement of this thesis is, firstly, a systematic analysis was performed in terms of background politics, economics and culture issues for the current interaction between television and TV industries across the straight. Secondly, through the cases of business collectivization and diversification, the pros and cons of market television industrial market environment was discussed, and concluded as the reference for the industry in mainland. Finally, based on the current industry interaction and cooperation foundation by the cultural product and the link of race recognition, an in depth analysis was performed and the conclusion was drawn on the possible economic-driven interaction mode in the areas of relevant technology, finance and marketing. The thesis promoted the vision of cooperation in development for dual-benefit for the television and TV industries across Taiwan Straight.
