The demand for geological, surveying data integration and application is becoming more and more intensive in mine information construction. It is a hot point for Digital Mine to explore, simulate and predict unknown mineralization space with present information resource and modern geoscience analysis techniques. In this paper, the current research situation and problems about data-integration technique and application, three-dimensional quantitative prognosis methods for deposit, three-dimensional geological modeling and visualization are presented. It is pointed out that a common data-resource platform and data-integration management system is required urgently in mine. Accordingly, research on three-dimensional geological modeling and quantitative prognosis of seated ore bodies can be carried out. With the theme "geological, surveying data integration and application in mine", digitizing methods for geological, surveying data from different sources and the database are researched in this paper firstly. Based on the database, three-dimensional quantitative prognosis modeling and visualization methods are studied. Finally, a practical example for geological, surveying data-integration management system and three-dimensional cubic quantitative visualization prognosis realization is given. The main contents involved in this paper are as follows:(1) With summarizing the categories and properties for geological, surveying data in mine, the digitizing methods for multiply-source geological, surveying data are discussed. Combined with the development of Mine Geology Aided Drawing on AutoCAD, scanning digitization progress for mine graphics is analyzed.(2) The theory foundation and application requirements for geological, surveying data integration and a data-integration architecture is established. Furthermore, The data-integration methods based on Client/Server(C/S) or Browser/Server(B/S) are discussed respectively. With the analyzing of the advantages and disadvantages of the methods, the geological and surveying data-integration method based on both C/S and B/S is proposed.(3) Based on geological and surveying database, the datapre-processing methods for three-dimensional quantitative prognosis are researched. The theoretical prognosis modeling process for Kriging method and Yang Chizhong method are studied with the analyzing of the adaptability and limitation. Moreover, three-dimensional cubic quantitative prognosis process of seated ore bodies is analyzed. The process involves establishing geometrical models of geological bodies, studying quantification of ore-controlling condition and establishing three-dimensional mathematical model of the ore deposit.(4) The visualization techniques for three-dimensional cubic quantitative prognosis data in three-dimensional simulating space are studied, Corresponding program is written to realize the visualization query of three-dimensional quantitative prognosis information, TIN construction of the surface of three-dimensional mineralization space and three-dimensional visualization of boreholes(5) As a practical example, the database for Dachang mining area is established. The database management system based on C/S and the geological information issuing system based on B/S are developed. The three-dimensional interest area for study is divided into same-size cubic cells. Information of cubic cells for known area is obtained by Yang Chizhong filtering and collocation method, prognosis information of cubic cells for unknown area is gained by three-dimensional cubic quantitative prognosis method of seated ore bodies. Furthermore, a three-dimensional cubic quantitative prognosis visualization query system is developed with the visualization techniques for three-dimensional cubic quantitative prognosis.
