With the fast development of communication and internet technology, mobile-phonemedia are rapidly flourishing in China. Various mobile-phone media e.g.mobile-phone newspaper, mobile-phone magazine, mobile-phone broadcasting,mobile-phone television,mobile-phone flash, mobile-phone searching, mobile-phonereading, mobile-phone mini-blog, subscription service and location-based serviceemerged in large number, which changed the communication methods and concepts oftraditional media and obtained rapid development through integration andcompetition with newspaper, television, broadcasting and internet, brought aboutprofound and lasting influence on the whole structure of our country's media industry.Experiencing the initial period, industrial formation period and industrial growthperiod, mobile-phone media in our country have entered the new stage ofindustrialization and large-scale development, which market scale, media size, userscale, the upstream and downstream industrial chain and commercial model havedeveloped greatly. Therefore, to analyze and study the whole situation, trend,characteristics, driving forces, opportunities, problems and countermeasures from themacro perspective of the mobile-phone media industry has theoretical and practicalsignificance in promoting our country's mobile-phone media industry development,providing reference for government decision-making and enriching theoretical systemon mobile-phone media.This thesis attempts to systematically analyze and study the related issues of ourcountry's mobile-phone media industry from the macro perspective of industrydevelopment, combining with theoriesof journalism and communication, mediaeconomics and industry economics. First of all, the thesis analyzes the process,situation, characteristics of industrial structure, industrial pattern and industrialmanagement system, probes the motivation mechanism and various driving forces topromote our country's mobile-phone media industry development from multipledimensions, and then on the basis of which, tries to prospectively study and grasp thenew opportunities, the new movements and the whole trend of our country'smobile-phone media industry through comprehensive analysis on inertia track and thelatest situation of our country's mobile-phone media industry development.Differed from traditional industry, mobile-phone media industry has special nature ofcross-media, cross-industries, cross-technologies and cross-markets, which results inmore particularity and complexity, and therefore causes some problems peculiar to theemerging industry. The paper probes the problems restricting the sustainable andhealthy development of our country's mobile-phone media industry and put forwardthe countermeasure suggestions from the aspects of renovating industrial managementconcept, perfecting industrial development mechanism, promoting industrialinnovation, optimizing the industrial structure so as to improve the software andhardware conditions and ecological environment to accelerate the industrydevelopment, aiming to provide reference for government decision-making on the keystage that the industry development currently needs rational guide, scientificmanagement and accelerated development.
