Beginning with children's real life, the paper is to study "the children in cultural conversion" and "the children under the effect of education". We are seeking the significance and the effect of children's life in the context of culture and education. However, we can see that we don't have a correct understanding to children's life in our culture. Children are eroded too early by adult's life. Even in education, their life is full of dull and monotonous stimulation, lacking happiness and enthusiasm. Education has diverged from children's real life and cannot make a structure for it. Children cannot find their due position in the development of society and culture. And therefore, even children in education are involved in problem and crisis.The source of these problems is that children haven't been taken account as a center. We haven't understood the nature of children education and haven't explored the source of children's life. Therefore, it is time for us to return to the real lifeworld. We need to take care of children's lifestyle and their position in real life. It is a requirement in today's education reform that we entrust the meaning and value of life to education.Childhood is the first stage of life, having its unique value and principle of development. The children are complex being. They have double existences: one is the natural existence, in which the children's development is guided by the nature and the inner regulations; the other is the cultural existence, in which the children's development is effected by a given social environment. Hence children's life must be children-centered. Their development evolves from their inner biological aspect under the guidance of individual or collective nature. Meanwhile it processes from unconsciousness to consciousness under the influence of outside environments such as cultural and social development. Thus, children's life is different from that of adult's. It is original, adaptable, playful and comprehensive.Children live in their own world. Their world is fundamental, direct, comprehensive and without any task. It is a world for them to experience, communicate and construct themselves.Living in their own world doesn't only mean they can live and grow as individuals, but also means they live in "others" and "in the world". It means they are living in the history of human's development. Therefore, children are interactive with the world in which they live. On the one hand, Lifeworld provides support and structure for the development of their intelligence and the formation of self-consciousness. On the other hand, every child is a basic and living factor of lifeworld. With their continuous participation, specialty and diversity of world can be remained and renewed.Education should return to children's life. It must respect the children and their nature, respect their possible life and real life. Children's development has its own principle. Children are firstly their own teacher. They can achieve the task of self-education. Meanwhile children's development is effected by social and cultural condition. Hence adults, especially parents and teachers should give them necessary supports to their growing. A curriculum which satisfies their need can accelerate their development.
