Being realistic and recreational is a significant research topic in present early childhood education. Its effective implementation will promote the development of children and avoid the tendency to educate children too early in the form of primary school. However, reality and recreation are separated crudely in practice, or even reality becomes the copy of daily life. This paper mainly discussed the controversy between theory and practice and tried to demonstrate the original meaning of life-the activity of an individual himself. According to the specific characteristics of children's life, the subject that play is the life of children was presented. Play cannot be separated from the life of children. Play is the life itself, and a positive and creative way of living of children.In the second part of this paper, the phenomena of lack of play resulted from overcriticalness for ideal childhood education at present were revealed using researching lived experience and researching documents .These phenomena include that playing time is occupied, playing space is relatively small, play exists falsely and children are short of communications when playing. In the mean time, the incorrect opinions of teachers while teaching and the resulted conflict and inharmony between school culture and children culture were also discussed.In the conclusion, the author didn't deny education itself, but expected the improvement of education. The coming back of people (children) to nature makes the coming back of life. Children are individuals with latent creativity and inborn game players. We should do everything based on nothing and find an object in view while educating to make children live a happy life. In the end, some suggestions of how to educate children using the proper education method with the basis of that play is the principle activity in kindergarten were presented.Life is continual, and of stages. Every stage has its own value. The present happy life is not future's but its premise. "To live now means being eternal". That is the real meaning of life.
