The true meaning and essentials of education is that it helps human to gain meaning of life. Education itself is the special activity of human. Just because of the complementary of education, human have enjoyed exceptional advantages that life can get surpassed wisdom and ability in the processes of species evolution. We can say that reconstructing life value by education is one of human's invention. But due to the cognition limitation and some utilitarian purposes, the invention is distortedly operated in the history. Today, the behaviour of ignoring life, disrespecting life and deviating from life is not an individual phenomenon in teaching. At the same time, we find that a trend of thought of regressing life and reconstructing life value is emerging tempestuously in different ways. The paper is a choice which is impeled and inspired by the historical trend.We have accumulated plenty of productions of life research. The knowledge , methods and ways of thinking from these researches provide us theoretic and intellective supports to investigate life teaching problems. Especially we get direct theory frame of reference from the researches of life science and life philosophy.In fact, education and teaching is a life question. The view of life theory not only develops our cognition to life itself but also provides new angle of view and new ambit for us to explore education and teaching problems. On the view of life this paper reexamines teaching theory and finds plenty of fresh and practical opinions. Life is the highest exist in the universe. Actually the goal of human's education is to enhance the quality of human's life, to develop life's potential, which makes life much more like life, human-being much more like human-being. The education that starts from life and regresses to life is the true life. So we can say that life is the true scalOe of education and teaching.But, people always ignore the productions of life researches in the realistic education theory and teaching practice .They insist on all kinds of teaching patterns of scientism or cognitivism. They simplify the richand colorful life into several cognitive models such as Gagne's eight phases model, Bloom's cognitive goal-lable model, Ausubel's meaningful learning model, and some other cognitive models: exploring model, learning of problem-solving, creative teaching. Most of them study learning and teaching in cognitive category, ignoring the value of felling intuition, experience, interest, need and personality in teaching. We can't get good effect in teaching and teaching reform using such kind of teaching theory. In view of such cognition and experience, we think it is valuable to import life theory into teaching investigation.Recently people all over the world pay attention to life education. They have published lots of monographs and essays. They have got lots of achievements of life ethic and life morality. There is a trend that they extend their study from individual life education into the whole life education system. Some scholars began to explore the goal method and principle of life education. People also began to pay attention to the teaching research. Some scholars began to discuss the differences between knowledge class and life class, to discuss the characters of life class ,to discuss teaching process etc . All of them are the premises and bases of this study.On the view of life we make a systematic study of teaching by way of cases anatomy and theory construction. The total train of thought is to conform the achievements in scientific research of life science and life philosophy. With the frame of reference of it we probe into some basic theoretic problems such as teaching item, the view of knowledge , view of curriculum, view of learning, class versus teaching, freedom versus creativity, the relationship between teacher and students etc.The paper is divided into ten parts .The first part is the introduction. This part discusses the value of this paper, the history and actuality of the study which includes both the life research and life teaching research. It introduces this paper's thinking and feature.The second part is about life and life teaching. This part generalizes the characters of life, explains the value of life teaching.The third part is to discuss teaching items on the view of life. It affirms the value of the goals in life teaching such as generative goal, inherent goal, experienced goal etc.The fourth part is to reflect and evaluate the view of knowledge of rationalism empiricism and practicality. On the base of them, it defines that life knowledge is people's inherent experience.The fifth part is to discuss the life curriculum. It includes the criticism of the traditional curriculum and stipulation of the outlook on life curriculum according to the life theory. This paper thinks that curriculum exists between text and self experiences, and it comes from the interaction between text and self experiences. The curriculum with its independent character, exceeds the text model and exists depending on the joining of learners.The sixth part is to discuss the view of knowledge on the view of life. It includes the discussion about the value of life and leaning etc, which can help student obtain some self experiences. Especially make some decipherment on memory perception intelligence and cooperative leaning , which make the learners obtain some opinions about value of life.The seventh part is to construct the classroom of life. Firstly,it analyzes the defects, such as the peripheralization of students in the traditional knowledge classroom, the simple space-time, mechanical teaching program and the teacher's unilateral action .And it gives the classroom of life some ought-to-be characters: establishing the Life ontology, reconstructing the structure of space-time, pursuing and exceeding to technique and poetry, the meaning of the relationship between teachers and students corporate construction in the classroom .The eighth part is to expatiate some questions about life teaching, such as the significance and form of teaching; the language and comprehension of teaching; the principle of relationship exceeding the law of effect; conventional structure and depatternalism, life teaching is an artistic teaching.The ninth part is to discuss the value of the freedom and creation to...
