The teaching of writing has always been the most important in Chinese teaching. It includesthe use of language, rhetorical devices, insight and feeling of life and comprehensive use ofrelated knowledge. The level of writing is an evaluation of basic Chinese teaching. Whether theteaching of writing is effective directly affects the overall teaching results. Recent years see moreand more problems in writing education since the pressure of examination force students andteachers to pursue high scores blindly. As a result, the composition written walks far away fromlife and lacks real emotion. What’s more, teachers feel stressed while students hate writing,which forms a vicious circle. This largely reduces the effectiveness of Chinese teaching, or evenhas a bad influence on adolescence’ growth. Senior Chinese course standard says that Chinesecourse is a combination of instrumentality. The Chinese education should spread the power ofoutstanding and cultivate patriot spirit of young adults, contributing to the advancement ofChina.Taking the writing education of junior high school as studying subject, this thesis putforward the teaching method of “experiencing writing”. It aims at adjusting teaching method andadding rural life into writing exercises. This will help students find their own distinguishing lifeexperience as good materials of their composition rather than force them to emanate thoseexamples which are far from real life.Based on this, the thesis includes the following parts:The first part states the background and meaning of choosing this subject. Theencouragement of experiencing writing will effectively break through the barrier of “lyingwriting”. Experiencing writing bases writing education on the real-life experience of juniorstudents. It encourages students to find writing materials from their everyday life. As a result,students can better express their true feeling in their writing rather than only ‘writing for writing’.The writing courses based real life will leave a profound influence on the growth of ruraladolescence. At present, teaching environment is relatively limited. Teachers have few overallplans in writing training and cannot meet the need of students. The experiencing writing willarouse the learning interest of students. Better adaptive teaching method is a beneficial try andwill make a contribution to the teaching reform.The second part takes the First Junior School of Tan Fang town, Qingzhou city, Shandongprovince, as an example. Rural secondary school education faces problems both in teaching andlearning. To be specific, the writing topic is rigid, students’ horizon is limited because of the lack of materials, and teachers neglects the role students play in correction. These are all thedifficulties of encouraging rural “experiencing writing”. In addition, the essay also explains theproblems that exist in the teaching practice. There’re problems in the progress of training. Andsome teachers believe teaching methods to write is more important than other aspects. Beside,many comments of compositions are useless to improve students’ level of writing. Thesebackward teaching methods made bad consequences in the teaching of writing.The third part pays attention to teaching examples and summarizes the writing method ofusing profound materials, vivid stories and great varieties, explicit conception and true feelings.Good writing teaching should arouse the interests of students and encourages them to think,evaluate and use life experience as writing materials. At the same time, teachers should timelyfind students’ confusion and conduct right guidance, in order to help them better recognize life.In the end, the writer concludes four ways to carry out the “experiencing writing”: usingprofound materials, experiencing the life, understanding the life, and expressing the life.
