The research contents of this thesis are as follows.I Effects of the change of serum testosterone on its existent form and distributionApproximately 98% of the circulating testosterone in men are bound to carrier protein, hi blood the proteins binding to testosterone are mainly the sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) and albumin. There are about 44% testosterone bound to SHBG, and about 50% bound to albumin, but only about 2% is free. The free testosterone (F-t) and albumin binding testosterone are the part with physiological activities in blood, while SHBG binding is that without physiological activity. Reports about effects of exercise training on blood testosterone distribution haven't yet been seen. The study of the regularity of the physiological changes of blood testosterone distribution was carried out in order that the index of blood testosterone can be better adopted in sports practice.II Effects of exercise training on enzyme activities for testosterone synthesis and the function of the Chinese traditional medicine invigorating the spleen to benefit the kidneySo far most of the reports about mechanism of lower blood testosterone induced by exercise focused on the modulation of hypothalamus-pituitary-gonad axis (HPG), but enzyme activities for testosterone synthesis affected by exercise has not been reported. Enzymes engaged in testosterone synthesis in testes include cholesterol side-chain cleavage (P450SCC), pregnenolone C17.20 lyase (P45017a), 3 3 -hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(3 0 -HSD), and 17 P -hydroxyketosteroid dehydrogenase (17 P -KSR), in which P450SCC is rate-limiting in testosterone biosynthesis, and it was highly correlated with testosterone biosynthesis. Effects of endocrine modulation on serum testosterone will be embodied finally through the biochemical process of testosterone synthesis. To inquire into the effects of exercise training on enzymes engaged in testosterone synthesis so as to further expound the enzymatic mechanism of lower blood testosterone induced by exercise, changes of enzyme activities for testosterone synthesis immediately after one exhaustive exercise and in different recovery periods were assayed. And the effects of exercise training and the Chinese traditional medicine for invigorating the spleen to benefit the kidney on enzyme activities for testosterone synthesis were assayed as well.III Effects of co-phosphatide on serum testosterone and cortisolIt was discovered in animal experiments that testosterone content in testes was significantly correlative with 6-phosphate glucose dehydrogenase(G-6-PDase) which involved in the anti-oxygenation. It was reported in literature that free radical can mediate degradation of P450SCC and P45017a and decrease enzyme activity. Therefore, in the experiments researches were made on the effects of supplying the anti-oxidation nutriment made by us ?the co-phosphatide on the serum testosterone and cortisol of athletes. Its results were observed in the practical application.By studying the above problems the following results were obtained. I Exercise-induced blood testosterone and its distribution were changed.Blood samples were taken four times in 15 track-and-field male athletes during one month of exercise training. The contents of total testosterone (T-t), free testosterone, cortisol (C), leuteinizing hormone (LH), follicular hormone (FSH), SHBG were assayed by using immunoassay, respectively. The albumin contents were determined using colorimetry with bromocresol green. The globulin binding and unbinding testosterone in serum were separated using 50% saturated ammonia sulfite precipitation technique and the contents of them were assayed using the same method as using in total testosterone assay. The results were as follows:1. There existed great individual differences between contents of testosterone with physiological activity and contents of total testosterone in different individuals. Athletes having high contents of total testosterone in blood do not necessarily have high content of testoste...
