Witchcraft is a kind of cultural phenomena widely existed in human society. As far as ancient woman's concerned, not only birth, ageing, falling ill, death but also marriage, pregnancy, bearing and rearing children, she is always indispensable to the methods including witchcraft to dissolve crises and avoid risks. In the thesis, we make womankind in Song Dynasty as subject researched, investigates them from the view of sorcery culture, and has a discussion from the aspects of marriage and child-rearing, body, and diseases.First of all, the article outlines the relationship between witchcraft and woman in Song Dynasty. It describes and analyzes the sorcery matters in woman's life, the women connecting human beings with goddess, and woman's behavior of refusing witchcraft. Then, the author probes the social and cultural context of the witchcraft for marriage and child-bearing in Song Dynasty, inspects woman's sorcery behaviors during their marriage and nurturance, such as marriage witchcraft, impetrating pregnancy and positioner, midwifery witchcraft, child care witchcraft and so on, and further seeks the cultural implication of the witchcraft.In Song society, the alienation of marriage and child-bearing inevitably puts woman into practical bewilderment.
