A Comparative Study Of Parent-child Support And Family Dynamic Painting Expressions Of Raising Children In Different Generations

Artistic expression is a symbol of the original visual language.In children's lives,to express their feelings and emotions, in addition to language, painting activities are the creative tools which can lead to their hearts and let them enjoy the expression of thoughts.Meanwhile, the family is the child's first school that have a profound impact on children physical and mental development.With the development of society,changes in family patterns and structures is affecting children's perception of the family. And children in skip-generation rearing is attracting more attention increasingly. What is the difference in their family relationships, self-concept, etc between parent-child rearing and skip-generation rearing famliies is causing many scholars' attention.Therefore, on the basis of Burns and Kaufman's Kinetic Family Drawings(K-F-D) theory, combined with Fan Rui Zhen Kinetic Family Drawings related research and rating scale, use of questionnaires, interviews, work analysis and other research methods, this study do some qualitative and quantitative analysis between parent-child rearing and skip-generation rearing famliies' drawings and seek to discuss the difference in their drawings. Then to summarize the general characteristics of children drawings and discuss their differences in drawing performance.To see the parent-child interactions and family relationships in family members of parent-child rearing and skip-generation rearing famliies from painting performance characteristics.The study obtain three conclusions as follow :No.1—There are less interactive perfomance in parent-child rearing families than skip-generation rearing families, parents neglect their children potentially;No.2 — Skip-generation families are raising more than education for children,children have some emotional distress situation in some degree and lower identify sense for parents.No.3 — The poor families reading atmosphere is univeral both in parent-child rearing and skip-generation rearing famliies.In this study, through the above results, in order to make some suggestions and prospects ofr teachers and future educational researchers, to provide some reference and be helpful for future study.
