The dissertation is a monographic study of the poems of Han,Wei and Six Dynasties edited during Ming Dynasty, under the background of the development of the literature in the time of middle and late Ming.In the foreword, the writer defines the objective of this dissertation, and summarizes the former studies.Chapter I discusses the development of the publishing and the spread of Han,Wei and Six Dynasties' poems in Ming Dynasty. It also elucidates the different motivation of the editor and introduces the general situation of the poetry.From Chapter II to V, the writer analyses more than ten poetry, including the lifetime of the editor and publisher, the process of the editorial work, the criterion of the selection, and so on . The writer has attempted to incorporate both the fruits of previous research and his own insights.In the Afterword, the writer generalizes both the theoretical and documental value of the poems of Han,Wei and Six Dynasties edited during Ming Dynasty , and therefore deserves more careful study.
