On this background, traditional biomedical model has been being replaced by modern bio-social-psycho-medical model.Most of the scholars have realized that Huangdi' s internal classic, as the ancestor of traditional Chinese medicine, contains plenty of thinking about social medicine. The special medical model of Huangdi' s internal classic is similar to modern medical model in some important features. It has given profound impact to theoretical recreation and clinical practice of the doctors at the late ages.This study has collected the concerning data, then systematically analyzed the academic thinking in Huangdi' s internal classic. The main contents are background of the formation of the thinking of Huangdi' sinternal classic about social medicine, the main contents of the thinking of Huangdi' s internal classic about social medicine and Huangdi' s internal classic' s medical model. The results are as follows:1. The thinking of Huangdi' s internal classic about social medicine and medical psychology is related closely to the ancients' clinical practice and ancient Chinese culture.2. The thinking of Huangdi' s internal classic about social medicine mainly contains the classification of periods of social history, the description of social condition and the influence on health and illness by social factors.3.
