Objective:Combining with characteristic of job management in public hospital, author systematically reviews and analyzes international and internal theories and practices on performance evaluation for public hospital in this study, and reasonably introduces international and internal methodologies of job performance evaluation into public hospital management, and explores to establish the performance evaluation system with the work position as principal axis in public hospital, and puts forward suggestions as reference for public hospital reform.Methods:In collaboration with field visit and questionnaire, literature review as main means were conducted in this study. Based on literature review, several issues about methodology and theory basis etc. on job performance evaluation were discussed in this dissertation inclusive of theory basis on job performance, methods and technology on performance evaluation, and index system for job performance evaluation in public hospital. Combining with field site's institutional review and in-person interview interviews, hiberarchy of job performance was analyzed. Questionnaires for hospital staff were employed to help researcher identify and understand the inscape of job performance in public hospital. According to characteristics of job in public hospital, qualitative and quantitative methods were used to provide information for this research.Results:Author makes a comprehensive understanding and expatiation about job performance in public hospital, and make reference to farther study on job performance theoretically. Focusing on work position as principal axis especially, basic theories about job management, performance evaluation and appraisal methods relative to job performance in public hospital were systematically reviewed and synthesized, and contents, principal part, methods, principle, process and index system about job performance evaluation were discussed in the dissertation.Conclusion:Innovation was emphasized in this study, performance hiberarchy, inscape, connotative meaning and evaluation flow chart about job performance in public hospital were newly analyzed, and creative key idea of job performance evaluation in public hospital was put forward, and conception of evaluation index, evaluation standard and technical criterion about job performance in public hospital were especially compared.
