Study On The Training Mode Of Clinical Pharmacy Undergraduates Under The Background Of Changing Pharmaceutical Work Mode In China

Objective:To investigate the unconformity between the current situation of undergraduate training in clinical pharmacy and the work of clinical pharmacy under the precondition that the work model of pharmacy is changing into clinical pharmacy in our country. And to explore some methods to solve these problems and to put forward some advices on undergraduate training reform in clinical pharmacy using the experience of the United States and Japan in the development of clinical pharmacy education for reference.Methods:A variety of methods had been adopted in this study including:Document research; Expert consultation; Questionnaire; Semi-Structured Interview; Focus Group Discussion; External reference analysis; Statistical Analysis Method:Descriptive analysis, Logistic regression, Chi-square test, One-way ANOVA, Rank sum test, etc..Results:(1) Patients'overall satisfaction rate of clinical pharmacist services was 61.84%. By the Chi-square test seventeen factors that affect patients'satisfaction towards clinical pharmacist services were screened out,which have statistical significance.And seven factors based on the logistic model analysis were screened out, which are main influencing factors that affect patients'satisfaction towards clinical pharmacist services.(2) The training target index system of clinical pharmacy undergraduates was built including three A-level indexes, twelve B-level indexes and fifty-five C-level indexes. And the Weight System of the index was also established, among which the A-level index Weight are professional quality target 0.3590, knowledge target 0.3128, and competence target 0.3282.(3) The investigation revealed that the education circle, academia and the business circle are more in favor of the five-year schooling system for majors in clinical pharmacy.(4) Based on the investigation, identified the similarities and differences of views from the education circle, academia and the business circle on various aspects of the curriculum system. Based on clinical pharmacy work,discussed and analysised the problems and promoted some suggestions.(5) Besides, according to the survey on the current situation of our country's teaching body of clinical pharmacy, found that there is little interaction between professional teachers and clinical work, and the teaching does not conform to the actual work of clinic.Conclusion:(1) Investigated on the need of clinical pharmacy,by finding out the clinical pharmacists related factors that affect patients'satisfaction and the aspects that clinical pharmacists need to improve, the reform of clinical pharmacy education can be carried out pertinently.(2) Some specific training requirements which are included in the index system of the training targets of clinical pharmacy undergraduates are defined.(3) Suggests that the undergraduate course of clinical pharmacy in our country should be five-year schooling, which could better meet the demand of clinical pharmacy education with Chinese characteristics.(4) The school should pay attention to the selection of curriculum, adjust the class hour and the arrangement of content, take note of the arrangement order of the curriculum, attach importance to curriculum's scientificity and systematicness,enrich teaching means of implementation,and formulate reasonable evaluation means of teaching, so as to make the curriculum system meet the practical need of clinical pharmacy work.(5) A channel should be established to connect the teaching body with clinic so as to make the teaching staffs get improved both in theory and practice which will promote the formation of virtuous cycle between teaching and learning.(6) Proposed some ideas:To carry out Life Education on students major in clinical pharmacy; Cultivate clinical pharmacists' competence; Carry out Service Learning; Carry out the training in team cooperation of clinical pharmaceutical students and medical students and nursing students,et al.(7)In addition, ways to realize the training mode of clinical pharmacy undergraduates were also put forward:Enhance the exchange between the business circle and the education circle; Modularize the related courses; Improve the teaching management system,et al.Innovation and deficiency:This research constructed the training target index system of clinical pharmacy undergraduates, made some empirical study on the industry field, education field including teaching body and students, found some issues on clinical pharmacy education, and creatively put forward some innovative design which may have practical value:Service-Learning may be introduced into clinical pharmacy education;And pharmaceutical students, medical students and nurses should be developed team training educational together; And that the related courses should be modularized in order to solve the contradiction that the content of subjects is too much while the class hour is not enough.The model had not been built as a quantitative mathematical model because of the limit of time and content and the lack of fund, which was the deficiency of this research and also the development direction of this research.
