The objective of this thesis is to show the metallurgical company importance in the Chinese economy. Since independence, China Metallurgical Company (MCC) was the major contributor to the country’s economic development. The best management practices review has allowed the company to maintain its role until present as a propellant to the Chinese economy expansion. The development of this company does not go without saying, nor the result of hazard. The implementation of quality improvement model in management system constitutes a palpable example for CCTEC Co., Ltd. for maintaining its commercial performance. Indeed, this model allows the company to avoid differences of visions between Senior Management and Design Management Department, this difference in point of view might to affect the operational Quality Improvement (QI) program subsequently the products quality will be ultimately flouted. At the same time, this thesis examines the metallurgical company integration in the sustainable development concept. The case study provides more details on the performance values induced at the conclusion of the production capacity expansion respectively in economic, social and environmental fields. This thesis also demonstrates the galloping imbalance between economic interests and the risk welfare of the population because of the environmental degradation engendered by industrial production. In order to develop all the above stated significance, the present study followed scrupulously a certain pattern, which consists of seven chapters.Chapter 1 Introduction:provides an overview concerning the background of the study followed by the brief statement description of the problem, the objective and the significance of the study will also be exposed towards the end of this chapter.Chapter 2 Literature Review:this literature review covering on the one hand, the project management environment in which it had highlighted the different phases in the life cycle of the project through metallurgical project, design and planning services, quality control practices, design process assessment and performance measurement and previous study. On the other hand, metallurgical company as driver of the economy constitutes the second part of this chapter where there was talk few studies have provided in-depth analysis on metallurgical company’s intervention towards the mutation on sustainable development. This study is made rightly to fill the gap in recent research.Chapter 3:Research Methodologies:presents a research scenario that has demonstrated the consistency between the theoretical framework studies, the nature of research adopted and collected data analysis. The methodology also clarified the three kinds of qualitative research were used for data collection:semi-structured interviews, direct observation and document analysis which the objective is to rationalize the sampling strategies and the research methods.Chapter 4:Best Management Practices:describes an overview of best management practices. The results are focused on the proportion measurement of the metallurgical company’s involvement in economic development. Other aspects of the survey also emphasized a distortion between economic interests received by the industrial at the expense of the threat of population’s welfare at the conclusion of destruction of the environment engendered by industrials ’production.Chapter 7:Conclusions and Implications:was reported on the conclusions and the research implications. Moreover after indicated the research limitations a new research direction has been opened for this purpose. This study might have implications both on behavior of industrial side than on decision makers ’behavior side. Industrial or owner of the company will be aware in front the galloping imbalance of values between Economic performances attributes on the one hand and Social performance attributes and especially Environmental performance attributes on the other hand. Therefore, the fact whose the studies’results has presented, have obliged the industrials to order the Design Management Department’s team to conducting a relative research to productive tactic to minimize the damage caused at the environment level. On the other hand, this distortion that weighs heavily in the environment constitutes an alarm bell for policy makers or the government to trigger coercive measures through the implementation of regulations and laws that will save environment Finally, this study will also enables as references for the others metallurgical company in China Metallurgical Company Group (MCC Group) and to analyze that whether it can use the same practice on national scale.
