Study On Influencing Factors And Factors’ Function Mechanism Of Energy Conservation Behavior In Industrial Enterprises

Accompanied with economic rapid development, energy conservation issues areon the agenda, especially industrial enterprises those are more energy consumptionand great energy-saving potential. Energy conservation in industrial enterprises hasbeen a hot topic in academia and industry, however, analyzes and determines thefactors that influence the behavior of enterprise energy-saving, and guide the researchof energy conservation from theory to practice, are the most important issues thatacademic and industry concerned. Currently, the study of energy conservation inindustrial enterprises, majority of the literatures on energy conservation are based onmacro level that research energy saving issues from the perspective of nationaldevelopment and economic growth, and literatures based on the enterprise level, fromthe microscopic point of view to research the energy conservation are less. It has animportant impact for industrial enterprises have energy saving behavior to researchfactors influencing energy conservation and determine the factors interaction.This article taking industrial enterprises for example, identifies factors thatinfluence the behavior of industrial enterprises in energy conservation fromenterprises external macro-environment, external micro-environment and enterprisesthemselves environment three levels. Based on the in-depth research of factors’mechanism, this article finally takes empirical research methods to test the results andconcludes the policy recommendations to strengthen enterprises energy-savingbehavior. The research contents include four aspects as follows:(1) This article takes literature research method, defines the connotation anddenotation of industrial enterprise concept and explores the origins of energymanagement, energy conservation affecting factors and the current situation of energyconservation path and empirical research methods at home and abroad. The literaturestudy makes the foundation for the further research.(2) On the basis of researching existing literature, this article studies theory ofplanned behavior, economic theory and theoretical analysis which impacts enterprisesenergy-saving behavior, summarized three factors have an impact on energy-savingbehavior of industrial enterprises, and supplement and validate the impact these threefactors on energy saving behavior through the course of capital Iron and Steel Group’s energy-saving. All these can lay the foundation for further research of enterpriseenergy-saving behavior.(3) On the basis of theoretical analysis, this study summarizes explainedvariables and explaining variables about enterprises energy conservation behavior,identifies8impact factors and41observed variables, and describes the obtained datascientific and research methods reliable.(4) This study, with the help of SPSS and AMOS, uses classical statisticalanalysis tools such as factor analysis, correlation analysis and structural equationmodeling and so on to identify and test the energy-saving behaviors affecting factorsfrom enterprise external macro environment, external micro environment andenterprises themselves environment. Furthermore, this article explores the influencingdegree of the influencing energy saving behavior factors and the interaction and pathrelationship between factors, and provides a practical significant reference frameworkfor enterprises to achieve energy conservation in our country.
