Literature Research To Meridian And Acupoint Of Han Dynasty And Those Before It

The meridian doctrine is an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine theory and the meridian and acupoint is the basic theory of Acupuncture and Moxibustion subject. Thougt the meridian and acupoint theory can be proved to have been formed in Han Dynasty by the existing literatures, there had been many puzzles and doubts due to its remote times when the later generations have understand and studied this theory, meanwhile, we have even misinterpreted and parried many questions. In this study, based on the thourough textual research for meridian and acupoint literatures from Han Dynasty and those before it, we from the viewpint of litarature cited a great lot of full and accurate literature data and made clear of the headstream and evolvement of this theory. Furthermore, we first probed into some key questions and put forward some distinctive viewpoints. In order to completely demonstrate the beeilderment existing between Acupuncture and Moxibustion theory and practice, we also investigated and illuminated many questions never elucidated before, which may contribute to understanding the source and development of meridian and acupoint theory as well as its scientific system. These studies have impotant value for the further investigation of meridian and acupoint theory.
