Pivotal classification is a kind of classification methods that the basic geomorphologic types are classified by taking the relative altitude as a main element and the absolute altitude as a sub element, and the grade system of geomorphologic classification is classified by taking the basic geomorphologic types and cause of formation types as a main element and the other factors as a sub element. This method there is functions for popularizing and utilizing the geomorphologic knowledge in production, unifiing the concepts of geomorphologic types. The main contents are:1.
