Scale dependence is a common question and a hot topic in landscape ecology and related disciplines.Geomorphologic type is the most important factor that directly affects landscape pattern.At present,the study on the scale effect of landscape pattern has achieved fruitful results,but the influence of geomorphologic type on the scale effect is still unknown.In this study,three typical geomorphologic type landscapes of mountain,hill and plain was selected as the research area.The method of landscape pattern index and correlation analysis were used to analyze the influence of different geomorphologic types on extent effect.The research results are shown:(1)According to the analysis of landscape structure characteristic,the matrix of mountain landscape is grassland,which can control landscape dynamic.The farmland is the largest patch in the hilly landscape and the plain landscape,and the connectivity is the best as the matrix of the landscape.(2)The three types of geomorphic have obvious scale effect on the patch type level and landscape level.The extent effect of patch type level showed: 12 km is the characteristic scale,88 km is the effective extent in the mountain landscape.14 km is the characteristic scale,90 km is the effective extent in the hilly landscape.24 km is the characteristic scale,86 km is the effective extent in the plain landscape.The extent effect of landscape level showed that 20 km is the characteristic scale and 90 km is the effective scale among the three geomorphologic types.Different geomorphologic types have different scale dependence,and the range of 100 km×100 km is the effective scale to study the scale dependence of landscape pattern.(3)Geomorphic type had no effect on extent effects,and the extent variation of different landscapes can be divided into three parts.The first part: in a small range,the landscape pattern index curve fluctuates violently,and the scale effect is the most obvious.The second part: the curve fluctuates slowly in a large range,and the scale effect is weakened.The third part: the curve does not change obviously in the larger range,the scale effect disappeared after 100 km.(4)As the extent increases,the significance of landscape pattern index in different geomorphologic types increases gradually,there is the possibility of scaling.
