Clinical Observation Of Acupuncture Combined With Bloodletting At Xingjian In The Treatment Of Liver Meridian Heat-stasis Type Dry Eye

Objective:By comparing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Xingjian bloodletting and hydroxyglucoside eye drop in the treatment of liver meridian heat-stasis dry eye,and analyzing the efficacy of the two,in order to provide a more safe and effective treatment for clinical treatment.Methods:A total of 64 patients(128 eyes)with liver meridian and heat stasis dry eye were randomly divided into experimental group(32 eyes)and control group(64 eyes)respectively,who visited the acupuncture and moxibustion Outpatient department and ophthalmology Department of the Second People’s Hospital Affiliated to Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2021 to October 2021.Experimental group:acupuncture combined with bloodletting treatment,acupuncture points(bilateral):Jingming,Sanyinjiao,Xingjian;Bloodletting acupoint(bilateral):interline.Acupuncture and bloodletting treatment once every other day,three times a week,one week as a course of treatment.Control group:hydroxyglucoside eye drops eye drops.1 drop per eye,4 times a day,morning,noon,evening and before going to bed,1 week as a course of treatment.Both groups had 4 courses of treatment.Chinese medicine symptom and sign score,Ocular surface Disease Index scale(OSDI),Schirmer I Test(SIT)and Fluorescein Break-up Time(FBUT)were recorded before and after treatment and 1 day after the end of treatment course,respectively.SPSS25.0 statistical software was used to analyze all data.Results:1.Schirmer I Test:There was no significant difference in SIT value between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.The SIT value in both groups was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the test group was better than the control group in improving SIT value(P<0.05).2.Fluorescein Break-up Time:There was no significant difference in FBUT between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability.Compared within the two groups,both groups could effectively prolong FBUT(P<0.05);Comparison between the two groups showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in prolonging FBUT(P<0.05).3.Ocular Surface Disease Index scale:There was no significant difference in OSDI score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability.The OSDI score was significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05).Compared between the two groups,the experimental group was better than the control group in reducing OSDI score(P<0.05).4.TCM symptom score:there was no significant difference in TCM symptom score between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),which was comparable.The scores of TCM symptoms in both groups were significantly decreased(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups showed that the experimental group was better than the control group in improving TCM symptoms(P<0.05).5.Clinical efficacy:The total effective rate of the experimental group was 87.10%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 63.33%the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Acupuncture combined with bloodletting and hydroxyglucoside eye drop can effectively prolong FBUT,improve SIT value,improve TCM symptoms and reduce OSDI score in patients with dry eye with stagnation of liver meridian.2.The clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with bloodletting in the treatment of liver meridian stasis dry eye is better than hydroxyglucoside eye drops.
