Clinical Observation On The Curative Effect Of Acupuncture And Cupping Combined With Longan Point Bloodletting On Herpes Zoster(Liver Meridian Stagnation Heat Type)

Objective: To verify the efficacy and safety of the treatment of herpes zoster(liver meridian stagnation heat type)by the clinical observation of acupuncture and collars cupping cupping and Long yan point bloodletting.Methods: Patients with herpes zoster(liver meridian stasis heat type)conforming to the natrol criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and matched group,with 20 cases in each group.Matched group: valaciclovir hydrochloride tablets,0.3g each time,3 times a day,for 1 week;Acyclovir cream,twice a day,external use for 1 week;Oral Longdan xiegan Decoction,2 doses per day,for 2 weeks.Therapeutic group: control group was treated on the basis of acupuncture and cupping plus longan point bloodletting,twice a week,for two weeks.Recording the TCM symptom score,VAS scores,herpes related efficacy,quantitative scores of symptoms and signs,comprehensive efficacy,and incidence of PHN in both groups before the first treatment and after the first and second weeks of treatment.Results: 1.There was no statistical significance disease duration,gender,in age,traditional Chinese medicine symptom score,VAS score,and symptom and sign quantification score between the two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05),indicating comparability.2.After 1 and 2 weeks of treatment,TCM syndrome scores,VAS scores and quantitative scores of symptoms and signs the treatment group was superior to the matched group,the discrepancy was statistical significance(P<0.05);3.The therapeutic group significantly shortened the time for blister arrest,scab formation,and scab removal compared to the matched group,with statistical significance(P<0.05);4.After 2 weeks of treatment,there was no significant difference in the total clinical effective rate between the treatment and the matched group(P>0.05).5.After one month of treatment,there was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of PHN between the two groups of patients(P>0.05).Conclusion: 1.Herpes zoster(liver meridian stagnation type)is treated by pricking and cupping combined with bloodletting at Long yan point has a good effect on improving symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,blister time,scab time,scab removal time and relieving pain.2.Both groups could improve the comprehensive curative effect.3.No obvious adverse reactions occurred in the two groups,indicating high safety.
