With the development of technology,"spot travel" has changed from the imagination of people visiting the world through the media to reality, but this does not mean that on-site tourism will face decline.Traveling to a certain place can bring people a sense of space withdrawal and a comprehensive experience of multiple senses.On-site tourism is still quite attractive. The globalization of tourism and the modern thoughts it carries have also gradually penetrated into tourist destinations including rural areas. The material environment of rural destinations has been reconstructed in a demonstrable principle, and the living environment of local residents is related to the relationship between people and land.Corresponding changes have taken place in the emotional connection between. In such a realistic situation, the physical space of tourist destinations not only provides a platform for builders, tourists, local residents and other groups to meet and communicate, but also becomes a medium embedded in people's daily life while intervening a specific culture. This research focuses on Mingyue Village,a mesoscale place, and takes local villagers in Mingyue Village as the object, and investigates the formation mechanism of local villagers' sense of place in Mingyue Village from the perspective of space media. The introduction part of the article introduces the research origin, literature review, research significance and research methods of the thesis. The main text discusses in detail the process of rebuilding the sense of place of local villagers in Mingyue Village from the three dimensions of the study of sense of place. The first chapter "Landscape as a Media and the Shape of Place Attachment" analyzes the media characteristics of the physical space of Mingyue Village with local attachment as the breakthrough point. The local villagers of Mingyue Village have obtained the external experience conveyed by the space media of Mingyue Village through the changes in spatial layout and the representation of the physical landscape.Through contact with the cultural heritage displayed and the local knowledge presented by the map,the villagers have formed related Mingyue Village The inner concept of place image. In this process, the local villagers of Mingyue Village experienced a transformation from separation to aggregation in their perception of local material and culture.Chapter Two "Communication and Space Practice and the Construction of Place Identity" mainly discusses the local identity constructed by local villagers in communication and space practice.First of all,the construction of public space and the launch of ritual activities realized the regionalization of Mingyue Village and established a mainstream local identity.Secondly,by naming specific sites and places, local villagers inject their own intentions into the place, and further compete for the meaning of the place through the practice of space negotiation and appropriation. Finally,Mingyue Village officials and local villagers jointly weaved a spatial narrative about the place, forming a network of people and inhumans acting together on local identity. The local villagers completed the role conversion from consumption to production in the process of communication and space practice, which strengthened the group's local identity to Mingyue Village.Chapter Three "The Creation of Local Culture and the Continuation of Identity" answers the question of local villagers confirming their identity in the interaction of the multiple subjects of Mingyue Village from two aspects of cultural experience and physical practice. On the one hand, local villagers associate their identity with local meaning in their interactions with villagers, new villagers, and tourists, and they define the identity of "insiders" in the experience of cultural identity. On the other hand, the villagers not only continue the time and space conventions formed in the traditional farming civilization, but also highlight their unique identity that fits with the local culture through the creation of daily life space.
