Objective and significance: In this paper, through the collection of Professor Zhang Fuli’s medical cases in the treatment of metabolic syndrome patients,we will sort out the statistical data, summarize them with modern data mining technology, and summarize the clinical medication experience in the diagnosis and treatment of metabolic syndrome,so as to provide the basis for the future application of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of metabolic syndrome. Methods: The cases were from the outpatient department of Professor Zhang Fuli, tutor of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of traditional Chinese medicine. The treatment time was from January 2017 to December 2020.There were 176 patients diagnosed with MS.The content of this project includes the date of treatment, name, age, gender, main symptoms, pulse, tongue,Chinese medicine prescription and so on.The data content was standardized according to the 13 th five year plan teaching materials, and entered into the template provided by "traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance computing platform(V3.0)" software, uploaded data, and ran "traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance computing platform(V3.0)" software for gender analysis, tongue and pulse analysis, four Qi and five flavor analysis of traditional Chinese medicine, meridian function analysis, frequency analysis, association rule analysis and cluster analysis. Results: Among 176 MS patients,119 cases were male, accounting for67.61%;57 cases were female, accounting for 32.39%.The prevalence rate of male was about 2.09 times that of female.Cold drugs, warm drugs and mild drugs accounted for 95.74% of all drugs;sweet, bitter and pungent drugs accounted for 88.19% of all drugs;meridian analysis showed that the frequency of spleen, stomach and lung meridian was the highest,1897,1499 and 1442 respectively According to the analysis of efficacy frequency, the frequency of tonifying deficiency, clearing heat, relieving exterior, diuresis and dampness was the highest, which were 816,560,551 and 312 respectively;according to the analysis of drug frequency,42 kinds of drugs were used more than 20 times, with the frequency of 3206 times. In the analysis of association rules, the number of support is set as 158,and the confidence is set as 0.9.There are 57 drug combinations in the medication mode of metabolic syndrome prescription, with a total of 6 traditional Chinese medicines. The core prescriptions are: Poria, licorice,Ophiopogon japonicus,Atractylodes macrocephala, parasitic mulberry and ginger.Through K-means clustering algorithm, six core drug combinations were obtained in the analysis of prescription composition rules. Conclusion: 1.Professor Zhang Fuli’s commonly used drugs in the treatment of metabolic syndrome are: cold drugs, warm drugs and mild drugs;commonly used drugs are: Sweet drugs, bitter drugs and pungent drugs.2.Professor Zhang Fuli’s commonly used drugs for the treatment of metabolic syndrome are: spleen meridian, stomach meridian, lung meridian and liver meridian, especially the spleen and stomach meridian. He thinks that the spleen and stomach middle Jiao is the treatment hub to maintain the stability of human body environment.3.Professor Zhang Fuli’s traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of metabolic syndrome includes tonifying deficiency drugs, clearing heat drugs, relieving exterior drugs, diuretic and dampness drugs, and the main drugs are licorice, sangsheng, ginger,Poria,Ophiopogon japonicus,Atractylodes macrocephala, rehmannia, pinellia,Scutellaria baicalensis,Paeonia lactiflora,Pueraria, tangerine peel, peony peel,Angelica sinensis,etc.4.Professor Zhang FuLi’s treatment of metabolic syndrome is mainly based on eliminating dampness and clearing away heat, strengthening spleen and stomach, and promoting qi.
