Meta-analysis On Treatment Of Urethral Syndrome In Middle-aged And Elderly Women With Traditional Chinese Medicine

Object: In order to prove the effectiveness and safety of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of female urethral syndrome in the elderly,evidence-based medicine was adopted for scientific demonstration and analysis,so as to provide evidence-based evidence and guidance for further clinical treatment.Method : Five databases including CNKI,CBM,VIP,Wanfang and Pub Med were searched by computer with the assistance of manual retrieval.The retrieval scope covered the period from the establishment of each dat abase to December 31,2020.Articles that Meta the inclusion criteria were judged by the modified Jadad scale and Cochrane quality evaluation criteria,and the extracted data were combined and Meta-analyzed by computer software Stata15.Result : This Meta-analysis included six clinically randomized controlled trials that met the criteria,including a total of 469 middle-aged and elderly patients with FUS.Meta-analysis showed that the experimental group had certain advantages compared with the control group in the following four aspects: improving the total clinical effective rate(RR=1.25,95%CI=[1.14,1.37],Z=4.61,P<0.05),two subgroups(RR=1.32,95%CI=[1.13,1.54],Z=3.52,P<0.05),and RR=1.18.95%CI=[1.06,1.31],Z=3.0,P<0.05),improved clinical efficacy(OR=2.622,95%CI=[1.84,3.74],P<0.05),two subgroups(OR=3.36,95%CI=[2.00,5.64],Z=4.6,P < 0.05),(OR=2.11,95%CI=[1.30,3.42],Z=3.0,P<0.05),QOL scale score(WMD =-0.581,95% CI = [-0.995,-0.167],Z=2.75,P<0.05),reduction of serum FSH value(WMD=5.159,95%CI=[0.08,10.24],Z=1.99,P = 0,047 < 0.05).There was no difference compared with the control group in the improvement of the TCM symptom scale scores(WMD =-3.38,95% CI = [-4.48,-2.28],Z=6.03,P<0.05),high serum E2 level(SMD=4.168,95% CI = [-2.11,10.44,P = 0.233 > 0.05),etc.Conclusion : Through the results of Meta-analysis,the following conclusions were preliminarily drawn:(1)TCM has five significant effects in the treatment of FUS in the middle-aged and elderly.Whether pure TCM treatment or the combination of TCM and western medicine treatment,compared with pure western medicine therapy,TCM has significant advantages in the total effective rate and clinical curative effect,and can better reduce the QOL score and serum F SH level.(2)There is no significant difference in the improvement of serum E2 level between the traditional Chinese medicine treatment plan and the simple western medicine treatment.(3)There is no conclusion with high credibility about the good or bad effect of traditional Chinese medicine treatment on the comparison of improving western medicine symptom score and reducing bladder residual urine,and more and higher quality clinical research is needed.(4)The quality of articles included in this Meta-analysis was generally on the low side,and there was a lack of large-sample,multi-center,doubleblind high-quality study,which resulted in many shortcomings in this study and low reliability of conclusions.Therefore,in the future research on FUS in middle-aged and elderly women,further high-quality clinical trials are the direction of the future.
