Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Female Urethral Syndrome Related Symptoms With Awn Needle

Objecttive:In this research,the patient who conform to the criteria of female urethral syndrome(FUS)were selected as this research objects to compare the therapeutic effects of awn needle directional deep needling with Ordinary filigree acupuncture in patients with FUS,we can not only evaluate the safety and feasibility of awn needle acupuncture in the treatment of FUS but also study the advantages of awn needle in the treatment of these symptoms,so as to guide the clinical better to treat the disease.Methods:Those choosed 60 cases of female urethral syndrome patients who met the standard of inclusion and excretion were randomly divided into filiform needle group and awn needle group randomly according to the number table.The control group(Baihui,Guanyuan,Zhongji,Shuidao,Taixi,Taichong,Sanyinjiao)used conventional acupuncture therapy,Tonic acupoints such as Guanyuan,Taixi,Sanyinjiao,etc.are subjected to the lifting,twisting and tonic method.Taichong,Zhongji are subjected to the lifting,twisting,and pouring,Baihui and Shuidao acupoints are applied to supplement and reduce,and the degree of local qi is obtained.In the treatment group,"Zhibian through Shuidao" was added as the main method on the basis of the control group,and the abdominal acupoints were changed to acupuncture and deep acupuncture with awn needle.The operation of other acupoints and reinforcing and reducing manipulations was the same as that of the other group.These two groups were treated once a day,each course of treatment included 6 times,12 times is the total.By comparing the female urethral syndrome score(FUSS),TCM symptom score and quality of life(QOL score)to explore the therapeutic effect of these patients before and after treatment.We used SPSS 25.0 to process the research data,as well as the improvement of symptoms and quality of life of patients with acupuncture between the two groups were compared.Results:Baseline comparison: There was no statistically significant difference in the general data such as age,course of disease,FUSS total score,FUS sub-item score,QOL score,and TCM symptom total score before treatment between the two groups(P>0.05).thus we could compare the two groups.FUSS total score: Comparing the FUSS score before and after treatment within the group,both of the groups can effectively decrease the FUSS score(P<0.05),confirming that both groups have improved urination symptoms.Comparison between groups after treatment showed that the treatment group could significantly decrease the FUSS score,indicating that the treatment group had a better effect on urination discomfort,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Each subitem of FUSS: Comparison of each subitem in the FUSS score before and after treatment between the two groups showed that both groups could decrease the score of each subitem of FUSS(P<0.05).After treatment,compared between the two groups,the treatment group had more significant improvement in symptoms such as frequency of urination at night,frequent urination,urgency,dysuria,incomplete urination,labored urination,and perineal discomfort,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).,and there was no obvious difference in the treatment of the other sub-items between the two groups(P>0.05).QOL score: The intra-group comparison of the QOL scores before and after treatment showed that the QOL scores in both groups were lower than before significantly(P<0.01).After the treatment,the comparison between the two groups showed that the treatment group solved the troubles caused by the disease to the patient’s life to a greater extent,and the effect was statistically significant(P<0.01).TCM symptom score: We compared TCM symptom scores before and after treatment within the group,the scores in both groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01).Efficacy evaluation: Western medicine efficacy: the total effective rate of the awn needle group was 93.33%,which was higher than 73.33% of another group,73.33%,indicating that the treatment group had better efficacy of western medicine,and there was statistically significant in efficacy between the two groups(P<0.01).The efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine: the treatment group(96.67%)was obviously higher than another group(80.00%),which proved the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment group was better and statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion:1.Both the treatment group(acupuncture therapy)and the conventional acupuncture group have good therapeutic effects on symptoms related to female urethral syndrome.Both groups can improve the quality of life and satisfaction of the patients while improving the discomfort symptoms.2.Awn needle acupuncture can improve a series of symptoms in female urethral syndrome patients more obviously,and the effect is more significant than conventional acupuncture therapy.
