Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of endoscopic urethral reunion after urethral rupture. Methods:CNKI,Wanfang Data,Pub Med,CBM,Embase and Springer foreign language databases were searched to screen related randomized controlled trials(RCTS),non-randomized controlled trials, and retrospective controlled trials up to October2021.After two evaluators selected the literature, extracted the data, and assessed quality according to inclusion and exclusion criteria,a meta-analysis of the included literature was performed using Revman5.3 software. Results:A total of 300 patients from 5 studies were enrolled.Meta-analysis showed that the incidence of sexual dysfunction(OR = 0.22,95%CI: 0.06~0.80,P < 0.05),operation time(SMD =-3.17,95%CI:-4.25~2.10,P<0.01),intraoperative blood loss(SMD =-2.88,95%CI:-3.36~2.40,P< 0.01)endoscopic urethral surgery group was superior to traditional urethral surgery group. There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative urethral stricture(OR = 0.50,95%CI: 0.06~4.38,P =0.53)and urinary incontinence(OR = 0.27,95%CI: 0.07~1.01,P =0.05).Conclusion:Compared with traditional surgery, endoscopic urethral reunion can improve the effectiveness and safety of surgical treatment, shorten the operative time, reduce intraoperative blood loss, and reduce the incidence of sexual dysfunction. The effect on the incidence of urinary incontinence and long-term urethral stricture requires further study.
