Objective:To observe the effect of Weichang Decoction on the TCM syndrome scores,inflammation-related indicators and lung CT in patients with community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm-heat stagnation syndrome,to evaluate the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm-heat stagnation syndrome Patient’s clinical efficacy. Methods:This study selected 80 patients with community-acquired pneumonia with phlegm-heat choking syndrome who were admitted to the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine of Fuzhou Second Hospital from January 2020 to December 2020 and met the inclusion criteria. They were randomly divided into a control group and a control group.Observation group has 40 cases, the control group is treated with conventional western medicine, and the observation group is combined with Weichang Decoction on the basis of the control group. The treatment course is 12 days. The scores of TCM syndromes, white blood cell count, and neutrophils of the two groups are recorded before and after treatment. The percentage of cells,procalcitonin,C-reactive protein, lung CT,pathogenic examination and changes in safety indicators, and statistical software for data analysis.Results:(1)Before treatment, there were no significant differences in TCM syndrome scores, white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage,procalcitonin,C-reactive protein, and pathogenic examinations between the two groups(P>0.05),and they were comparable.(2)The curative effect of TCM syndromes: the total effective rate of the observation group is94.59%,the total effective rate of the control group is 86.11%,and the curative effect of the observation group is significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)TCM syndrome scores: on the 7th and 12 th day of treatment, the scores of TCM syndromes in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group in improving TCM syndrome scores(P < 0.05)).(4)Inflammation indicators: On the 7th day and the 12 th day of treatment, the white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage, and C-reactive protein of the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease of the indicators in the observation group was better than that before treatment.Control group(P<0.05).On the 7th day of treatment and the 12 th day of treatment, procalcitonin in the observation group was improved compared with before treatment(P<0.05).On the 7th day of treatment, the control group had no significant improvement in procalcitonin(P>0.05).The procalcitonin in the control group improved on the 12 th day(P<0.05),and the two groups had the same curative effect in improving procalcitonin on the 7th day and the 12 th day(P>0.05).(5)Imaging conditions:The total absorption rate of pulmonary inflammation in the observation group was 89.19%,and the total absorption rate in the control group was 83.33%.The two treatment programs had equivalent effects in promoting the absorption of pulmonary inflammation(P>0.05).(6)Etiology: On the 12 th day of treatment, the number of pathogens detected in the two groups was reduced compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the two groups had the same efficacy in removing pathogens(P>0.05).Conclusion:(1)Weichang Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine treatment is superior to conventional Western medicine treatment in improving the TCM syndrome scores of patients with CAP phlegm-heat stagnation syndrome.(2)Weichang Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine treatment is superior to conventional Western medicine treatment in reducing inflammation-related indicators(white blood cell count, neutrophil percentage and C-reactive protein)in patients with CAP phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome.(3)Weijing decoction combined with conventional western medicine has the same effect as conventional western medicine in improving PCT to remove pathogens and promoting the absorption of pulmonary inflammation.(4)The Weichang Decoction has no adverse reactions during the treatment of CAP patients with phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome, and has good safety.
