| Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy and safety of Qingfei Huatan Decoction in the treatment of patients with non-severe phlegm-heat blocking lung syndrome of community acquired pneumonia and its effects on serum IL-1β,IL-18 and su PAR,the mechanism of action and therapeutic effect of Qingfei Huatan Decoction in the treatment of community acquired pneumonia were discussed from the perspective of inflammation mechanism, providing theoretical basis for the treatment of community acquired pneumonia with traditional Chinese medicine. Methods: In this study,60 inpatients with non-severe phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome of community acquired pneumonia were divided into control group and treatment group according to random number table method. On the day after admission, the control group received conventional Western medicine treatment(oxygen inhalation,anti-infection,relieving cough and phlegm, relieving asthma, etc.),and the treatment group was additionally given Qingfei Huatan decoction for 10 days.TCM syndrome score, cough symptom score, chest imaging score and serum levels of IL-1β,IL-18 and su PAR were recorded on the day of admission and 10 days after treatment, and compared with the control group. To observe the clinical effect of Qingfei Huatan Decoction on patients with non-severe phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome of community acquired pneumonia and the effect of serum IL-1β,IL-18 and su PAR.Finally, the data were sorted out and analyzed by statistical software.Results:1.There was no statistical significance between the two groups in age, gender and other general information and scores of various indicators compared before treatment(P > 0.05),indicating comparability.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: The TCM syndrome scores of community-acquired pneumonia patients in the two groups decreased significantly after 10 days of treatment, with statistical significance(P < 0.05);The decrease of TCM syndrome score in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group after 10 days of treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P > 0.05).3.Comparison of TCM syndrome efficacy: After 10 days of treatment, the total effective rates of TCM syndrome efficacy in the treatment group and the control group were 97% and 90%,respectively.The treatment group was better than the control group in improving cough, expectoration, chest pain, fever, thirst and other TCM syndromes, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in dry stool and abdominal distension scores between the two groups(P > 0.05).4.Comparison of cough symptom score: After 10 days of treatment, coughing symptom score of two groups was significantly decreased compared with before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);After 10 days of treatment, the score of cough symptom in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P > 0.05).5.Imaging scores: Imaging scores in 2 groups decreased significantly after 10 days of treatment compared with before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).After 10 days of treatment, the score of cough symptom in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P > 0.05).6.Comparison of laboratory indicators: The laboratory indexes of IL-1β,IL-18 and su PAR in the two groups of patients with community-acquired pneumonia decreased significantly on the 7th day after treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P>0.05).At the same time, the reduction degree of laboratory indexes in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P >0.05).7.Safety: During the whole study,no significant abnormalities in vital signs, electrocardiogram, liver and kidney function and coagulation indexes were observed in both the control group and the treatment group, and no serious adverse reactions occurred, suggesting that Qingfei Huatan Decoction is safe and reliable in the treatment of non-severe phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome of community-acquired pneumonia. Conclusion(s): Qingfei Huatan Decoction combined with conventional Western medicine is effective in the treatment of patients with non-severe phlegm-heat obstructing lung syndrome of community acquired pneumonia, can reduce serum levels of IL-1β,IL-18 and su PAR,and reduce inflammatory indicators. |
