Effect Of Liushun Decoction On Community-acquired Pneumonia And Related Inflammatory Factors In Elderly Patients With Turbid Phlegm Obstructing Lung Syndrome

Objective:The purpose of this study was to study the efficacy of Liushun decoction on community-acquired pneumonia(Community acquired pneumonia,CAP)and related inflammatory factors in elderly patients with turbid phlegm obstructing lung syndrome.Through the TCM syndrome score,white blood cell count(WBC),neutrophil count(N),hypersensitive C-reactive protein(CRP),serumamyloid A(SAA),procalcitonin(PCT),soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),interleukin-8(IL-8)before and after treatment to explain the therapeutic effect and safety of Liushun decoction on elderly CAP patients with turbid phlegm obstructing lung syndrome.Methods:60 patients who met the criteria were randomly divided into two groups:the control group was treated with western medicine,and the treatment group was treated with self-made Liushun decoction for 7 days.The changes of indexes before and after treatment were observed and analyzed to evaluate the efficacy of Liushun decoction on elderly CAP with syndrome of turbid phlegm obstructing lung and the effect of related inflammatory factors,and to evaluate its safety.Using SPSS26.0 statistical software for data analysis.Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,while that of the control group was 86.67%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment,the total score of TCM syndrome in the two groups decreased significantly,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.After treatment,WBC、N、CRP、SAA、PCT、IL-8 and sICAM-1 in the two groups decreased,especially in the treatment group,which showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group in reducing inflammatory indexes,and there was no adverse reaction in the treatment of senile CAP with Liushun decoction.Conclusion:Liushun decoction in the treatment of elderly CAP with turbid phlegm obstructing lung syndrome is particularly effective in improving the clinical manifestations of patients,reducing the level of related inflammatory factors,and there are no adverse reactions,the drug safety is high.
