| Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of Shugan Huatan Xiaoying Decoction in the treatment of benign thyroid nodule(Qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction syndrome)by observing the influence of Shugan Huatan Xiaoying Decoction on the maximum diameter and number of benign thyroid nodule,as well as the clinical manifestations of traditional Chinese medicine,and to provide clinical basis for its treatment.Method:Will be in January 2020-January 2021 in Shanxi Hospitsal of Integrated Traditional and Western medicine endocrine department outpatient service and the diagnosis of thyroid nodules,belong to qi depression syndrome differentiation of traditional Chinese medicine phlegm syndrome gall comply with relevant standards of 72 patients at the same time,according to the random number table to 36 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 36 cases.The treatment group was treated with Shugan Huatan Xiaoying prescription.The control group only had regular follow-up.Both groups were given lifestyle intervention(iodine diet,health education,psychological counseling,etc.).The observation period was 12 weeks,and the changes of TCM clinical syndrome score,nodule size,nodule number,thyroid function and related safety indicators before and after treatment were recorded respectively in both groups.The collected data were statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0 software.Results:1.In this study,64 cases were actually completed,among which 3 cases were excluded and 5 cases were exfoliated,and both the treatment group and the control group were 32 cases.2.Comparison of general data: 64 patients were compared in terms of gender,course of disease,age,size of nodules,number of nodules,TCM single syndrome score and total score,etc.,P > 0.05 was not statistically significant,suggesting that all aspects were comparable.3.Comparison of clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine: the study results showed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was84.38%,and that of the control group was 15.63%.Through data analysis,P < 0.05 indicated that the treatment group was superior to the control group in terms of clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine.4.Comparison of total scores of TCM syndromes:intra-group and inter-group comparisons were made between the two groups before and after treatment.After treatment,total scores in the treatment group were lower than before treatment,with statistical significance(P < 0.05),while there was no significant improvement in the control group(P > 0.05).The comparison between groups indicated that the treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the clinical symptoms of TCM(P < 0.05).5.Comparison of single item scores of TCM syndromes: there was statistical significance in the intra-group comparison of the treatment group(P < 0.05),suggesting that Shugan Huatan Xiaoying Recipient can improve the symptoms of thyroid nodules with Qi stagnation and phlegm obstruction;In the control group,except for sputum in the throat,there was no significant improvement in other items(P > 0.05),suggesting that regular follow-up observation did not significantly improve the TCM symptoms of qi-stagnation and phlegm-blocking thyroid nodule.Through the comparison between groups,it was found that the treatment group was superior to the control group in both primary and secondary symptoms(P < 0.05).6.Comparison of the maximum diameter of nodules: the number of nodules in the treatment group was smaller than before,which was statistically significant(P < 0.05);In the control group,there was no significant reduction in quantity,and there was no statistical significance in the control before and after treatment(P > 0.05).Through analysis,the treatment group was better than the control group in reducing the diameter and number of nodules(P < 0.05).7.Comparison of clinical efficacy: the total effective rate of the treatment group was 59.38%,and that of the control group was 9.38%,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05),suggesting that the treatment group had more advantages for clinical efficacy.8.During the treatment,no adverse reactions were found in both groups.Before and after treatment,vital signs(body temperature,pulse,respiration,blood pressure),thyroid function and thyroid autoantibody,blood,urine,stool routine,liver and kidney function and other safety indexes were all within the normal range.Conclusion : Shugan Huatan Xiaoying Decoction has obvious curative effect on patients with Benign Thyroid nodule syndrome.It can not only improve the clinical symptoms of TCM,but also reduce the volume and number of nodules,with less side effects and higher safety,it is worthy of further clinical exploration,research and application. |
