The Clinical Observation Of Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction In The Treatment Of Thyroid Nodules

Objective:Through exploring and researching the understanding of thyroid nodules in Chinese medicine,use the teacher’s self-made prescription "Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction" to treat patients with thyroid nodules of liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type based on TCM differentiation to observe the changes of the patients’ thyroid nodules before and after treatment,such as the maximum cross-sectional diameter,TCM syndrome score,thyroid function,antibody titer,liver and kidney function and other indicators to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction in the treatment of thyroid nodules and to evaluate the safety of this prescription,to provide ideas for the treatment of thyroid nodules in Chinese medicine.Methods:Sixty patients with benign thyroid nodules of liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation type that met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group received health education and dynamic observation for 8 weeks.On the basis of life intervention,the treatment group take the tutor’s prescription Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction for treatment,4 weeks as 1 course,2 consecutive courses of treatment.After the course of treatment,review the relevant efficacy indicators and safety indicators,and process and analyze the data obtained before and after the treatment through the statistical software SPSS26.0.to explore the clinical effect of Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction on patients with thyroid nodules with syndrome of liver stagnation and phlegm coagulation.Results:60 cases were included in this study,and no cases were dropped or excluded.Before treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of gender,age,course of disease,etc.(P>0.05).①Comparison of disease efficacy:After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group is 70%,and that of the control group is 10%.The total effective rate of the treatment group is better than that of the control group(P<0.05).②Comparison of curative effect of TCM syndromes:after treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 6.7%,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).③Comparison of the reduction of the maximum cross-sectional diameter of the nodule:The reduction of the maximum diameter of the nodule in the treatment group was more significant(P<0.01),while the reduction in the diameter of the control group was not significant(P>0.05).In comparison between groups after treatment,nodule reduction in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).④Comparison of thyroid function and antibody titer:Before and after treatment,the thyroid function and antibody titer of the two groups were within the normal range,and there was no significant difference(P>0.05).⑤Safety indicators:The three major routine tests,liver and kidney function,thyroid function,and antibody titers were all normal before and after treatment.During the medication period,patients in the treatment group had no gastrointestinal reactions such as abdominal pain,diarrhea,nausea and vomiting,no adverse reactions such as skin rashes,allergies,etc.,and no patients in the treatment group withdrew from the study halfway due to adverse reactions.Conclusion:After preliminary clinical observation,Shugan Huatan Sanjie Decoction can improve the TCM clinical symptoms of thyroid nodules with stagnation of liver-stagnation and phlegm,reduce the nodules,and have higher safety.
