Clinical Observation Of Modified Sihai Shuyu Decoction In Treating Benign Thyroid Nodules(Qi Stagnation,Phlegm Obstruction Syndrome And Blood Stasis Type)with Anxiety

Objective:To observe the improvement of thyroid nodule size,anxiety state and TCM syndrome by applying modified Sihai Shuyu Decoction to treat benign thyroid nodule(qi stagnation,phlegm obstruction and blood stasis type)with anxiety.Methods:In the future,66 patients with benign thyroid nodule from the endocrinology Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine who met the inclusion criteria were divided into 33 cases in control group and 33 cases in treatment group according to the random number table method(6 cases fell off due to the epidemic during the treatment failed to follow up on time,including 3 cases in the treatment group and 3 cases in the control group).Under the premise of basic treatment,the control group was given Xiaojin capsule 1.05g,oral twice a day;The treatment group was given modified Sihai Shuyu decoction plus or minus one dose a day,divided into two times in the morning and evening,for 12 weeks.By comparing the size changes of thyroid nodules,the improvement of the main and secondary TCM syndroms,and the changes of the total scores of TCM syndroms and anxiety status scores at the 4,8 and 12 weeks of treatmen.SPSS26.0 was used for statistical analysis.Results:1.After 12 weeks of treatment,the reduction degree of thyroid nodules in the treatment group was significantly greater than that in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).2.4,8,12 weeks after treatment,the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the anxiety state of patients,the difference was statistically significant(P<005).3.After 12 weeks of treatment,the treatment group could improve the clinical symptoms of neck tightness,emotional depression,sputum in the throat,irritability,chest pain,and frequent sighing,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistical significance in foreign body sensation in pharynx,epigastric distention and pain and chest tightness(P>0.05).4.4,8,12 weeks after treatment the therapeutic effect of improving the total score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was better than that in the control group,with statistical significance P<005).Conclusions:1.Modified Sihai Shuyu Decoction can improve the size of thyroid nodules in patients of benign thyroid nodules(qi stagnation,phlegm obstruction and blood stasis type)with anxiety.2.Modified Sihai Shuyu Decoction can improve the anxiety state of patients with benign thyroid nodules(qi stagnation,phlegm obstruction and blood stasis type)with anxiety,reduce anxiety score and improve adverse mood3..Modified Sihai Shuyu Decoction can improve patients’clinical symptoms and the quality of life of benign thyroid nodules(qi stagnation,phlegm obstruction and blood stasis type)with anxiety.
