The intensive use of urban land is an inevitable choice for the development of urbanization in various countries. And the coordination and efficient use of society, economy and ecology are the inherent requirements for realizing the sustainable development of urban land.At present,in order to meet the needs of building a conservation-minded society,China has extensively carried out evaluations of intensive use of construction land for central cities. However, judging from the evaluation process,it has focused more on investment evaluation and agglomeration scale evaluation of land use efficiency, seldom considering cities.Ecological constraints on the efficient use of land, thereby affecting the scientific results of the evaluation. In recent years, the urban heat island effect on the urban environment and urban ecosystem has received extensive attention from the academic community and the government. At the same time, the state of change can reflect the impact of land use on the urban ecological environment. Therefore, the urban heat island effect is the starting point. To evaluate the intensive use of urban land, the evaluation results are more suitable for guiding the sustainable use of urban land.Based on the above background, this paper selected data from 1995 to 2016,using 10 sampling areas with large changes in residential land as the survey object, using the atmospheric correction method to obtain the surface temperature values of each sample area, and applying regression. The analysis method analyzes the relationship between the comprehensive plot ratio, building density, population density, and urban heat island effect in residential plots.Taking the residential functional area in Weidu District of Xuchang City as the research object,a multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method was adopted to select the comprehensive volume ratio, building density, population density, completeness of infrastructure, and the realization level of residential land price as evaluation indicators of intensive use of residential land. The intensive degree of each functional area will eventually classify the residential functions in Weidu District into overuse, intensive, moderate, and low-use areas, and will be used for moderate and low-use areas. The potential calculation,The findings are as follows:(1)The correlation coefficient between the integrated volumetric rate and population density and the urban heat island effect is relatively large. The urban heat island effect changes significantly with the change of the two;and the correlation between the building density and the urban heat island effect is weak. The urban heat island effect changes with the building density. And the float is smaller.(2)According to the urban heat island effect and urban intensive use evaluation of various sample areas in Xuchang City, the changes in the index of each factor to determine the ideal value of each factor index,in which the ideal volume ratio of the ideal value of 1.7 to 2.0,the ideal population density of 0.81 million Person/km2;The ideal value of the completeness of the infrastructure is 100;the ideal value of the realization level of the residential land price is set as the highest value of the survey area of 2.31;the ideal value of the building density is 25% to 35%.(3)The level of intensive use of residential land in Weidu District decreases from the center of the city to the edge of the city, which is consistent with the urban center theory of Kristal. In general,Weidu District has a moderate level of intensive use of residential land.(4)The moderately utilized and low-used residential functional areas are mainly distributed in the economic development zone in the urban edge and southwest of Weidu District, accounting for 55.00% of the total area of residential functional areas in Weidu District, and the total potential of residential land is 127.01%.and have high development potential.
