Case Report Of Surface Arch And Gothic Arch In The Repair Of Complete Denture

Objective:This case report mainly describes the application of facial arch and Gothic arch in the repair of complete denture in edentulous jaw patients with unstable maxillofacial relationship,and describes the specific operation process of facial arch and Gothic arch and defines the operation points and matters needing attention in clinical treatment.Methods:According to the routine examination and the patient's chief complaint,the treatment plan was made before repair treatment;the Gothic arch and the facial arch were used to repair the complete denture in the prosthodontic treatment;after the repair treatment,the grinding position,grinding time,the times of re-diagnosis and number of tenderness points of the first denture were recorded,and the satisfaction degree of the patients on chewing function,retention function,comfort,aesthetics and speech function of the denture was investigate.Results:The complete denture made of Gothic arch and facial arch,the patients adapt quickly to the first denture,the number of visits is 1 or 2 time,the tenderness point is less,the occlusal relationship is good.Besides,patients are satisfied with denture mastication,retainer function,comfort,aesthetics and speech function of the denture.Conclusion:The complete denture made of Gothic arch and facial arch has accurate maxillofacial position and high patient satisfaction.Therefore,beginners make complete denture with the help of Gothic arch and facial arch.Complete dentures suitable for patients can be made more accurately.
