Evaluation Of The Restorative Efficacy Of Adsorption Complete Denture Combined With Aligner Seaters In Edentulous Patients

Objective: In this study,by analyzing the chewing efficiency,the maximum bite force,the temporalis muscle asymmetry index(ASTA),the temporalis muscle asymmetry index(ASMM),the number of mucosal tenderness and the satisfaction survey,we proposed to provide a new idea for clinicians on the successful repair of the adsorption complete denture.Methods: Edentulous patients treated from the stomatology department of our hospital were selected,and 40 patients who met the experimental standards were selected and randomly divided into two groups A and B,20 patients in each group.Group A was the experimental group: adsorptive complete denture repair and combined with orthodontic bite glue,and group B was the control group: simple adsorptive complete denture repair.A,B two groups in the adsorption of full denture repair immediately(0 months)、 3、6 months with viewgum software test chewing efficiency,bite force instrument test maximum bite force,electromyography measure the peak potential of temporal muscle and masseter muscle and calculate the corresponding asymmetry index,record the number of mucosal tenderness,and 6 months after repair satisfaction questionnaire survey.Results: 1.Compared with groups A and B,the numerical difference of chewing efficiency tested after the repair was not statistically significant,but at 3 and 6 months.2.Compared with groups A and B,the statistical difference was insignificant when the maximum bite force repair was determined immediately,and it was significant at 3 and 6 months.3.A and B compared with two groups,the temporal muscle asymmetry index,masseter asymmetry index in the adsorption of the difference of not statistically significant,at 3 months,ASTA,ASMM numerical difference have statistically significant,at 6 months,ASTA numerical difference is not statistically significant,ASMM value difference statistically significant.4.There was no significant difference in the amount of mucosal tenderness at 3 and 6 months compared to groups A and B.During the preliminary evaluation of satisfaction at 5.6 months,it was found that there were no significant differences in aesthetics,pronunciation,and comfort between groups A and B,but the differences in retention and stability,and chewing efficiency were statistically significant.Conclusion: The repair of adsorptive complete denture combined with aligner seaters is conducive to the improvement of chewing efficiency,maximum bite force and more stable muscle function activities,and high clinical satisfaction in terms of retention and chewing efficiency after repair;orthodontic gum can be used as a clinical auxiliary for adsorption complete denture repair in edentulous patients,providing higher satisfaction for the repair of adsorptive complete denture.
